First they needlessly bring in the Agnipath scheme with a four year service period and a 25% retention cap.
Then when the discharge of the first lot is about to happen, they say they may retain more of them or allow a service extension.
Not just the Agniveers, their commanding officers would also be tearing their hair out in frustration.
A stupid scheme conceived by stupid people.
We are needlessly facing the same problems faced by conscript armies - who's enlistment to be terminated, who's to be renewed and so on.
Take one of the world's finest armies and attack the very core of its existence - unit cohesion.
Even the Pakistanis, in their wildest dreams would not have imagined this nonsense we have willingly adopted.

Absolutely Sir ! The Armed forces are not meant to help the politicians escape their liability of employment. The Armed forces have only one purpose- To defend the Nation from external aggression and internal disintegration. Agniveer was a very ill conceived plan for which India will have to pay for in security terms in the long run. The right person who pointed this out @ManojNaravane Sir was sidelined. A government which chooses “ Yes men” is not a visionary pro nation government, it’s a shortsighted pro party govt.
The badly planned and executed Agnipath scheme is back in focus. Now we are given to understand that some of them are likely to be given a two year extension?
My stand on this scheme has been consistent for last 4 years.
It's not in the interest of the armed forces and certainly not in favour of lakhs of rural youth who wish to join the forces.
Read the comments of the distressed rural youth and smell the coffee ☕.

➡️India can prosecute such acts on foreign flights if the next landing is in India and the pilot hands the offender over.

🚨 New Airfare Rules in India from January 1, 2027.
🔹Airlines must submit their fares to DGCA and publish them online.
🔹Ticket prices must clearly show the base fare, taxes, fees, cancellation charges and refund conditions.
🔹The Centre can direct airlines to take action during extraordinary situations in the public interest.
🔹DGCA will monitor airfares, but its explicit power to act against excessive or predatory pricing has been removed.

Yet it remains one of the safest countries in the world. Japan has the most violent anime and manga and has one of the lowest crime rates globally.
The data does not support the argument. Films do not create criminals. Broken systems do. Lack of education does. Bad parenting does. Blaming cinema is the easiest deflection from the real problems.
Someone who has built a career on 'analysing things' should know this before tweeting halfbaked takes to millions of followers.
