Everyone catching up but Iβve been talking about this for years.
The Glazers saved Ferguson and his legacy.
ππ€― Did you know a dispute over a RACEHORSE helped pave the way for the Glazers to buy Manchester United?
It all started with Sir Alex Ferguson and a champion racehorse called Rock of Gibraltar.
Ferguson believed he owned 50% of the horse, including its incredibly valuable stud rights, potentially worth tens of millions of pounds.
But Irish businessman John Magnier, who was also a major Manchester United shareholder, disputed his claim.
The disagreement turned into a bitter legal battle, with Magnier and fellow shareholder JP McManus putting pressure on Ferguson and demanding investigations into United's transfer dealings.
The relationship completely broke down and led to a settlement out of court and was followed by Magnier and McManus putting their shares up for sale.
In May 2005, they sold their combined 28.7% stake in Manchester United to Malcolm Glazer, giving him the controlling interest he needed to complete his takeover.
The Glazers then took control of United through a debt-funded takeover that would change the club's financial future forever.
All because of a falling-out over a horse. ππ³

Take this advice from me: consider building a career in Supply Chain Management. Invest in professional certifications and relevant courses, and consider specialising in maritime supply chain, oil and gas, or logistics and supply chain management.
I have said it here repeatedly, and I will keep saying it: Supply Chain Management is an industry that can change your life.
I have been writing about Supply Chain for as long as I can remember. A few days ago, I started a series explaining some of the fundamental concepts every beginner should understand. I will continue that series later today.
If you are looking for a career path with opportunities to grow, specialise, and build a rewarding career, give Supply Chain Management serious consideration.
Choose a path in Supply Chain Management, invest in developing yourself, and you will be glad you did.

Another site you shouldnβt sleep on if youβre actively job hunting is BruntWork.
Youβll get a lot of rejections, sometimes before you even make it to the interview stage, thatβs because they work with different clients and positions get filled pretty quickly.

LinkedIn, Pnet, Indeed etc. Just make sure your profile is proper on all these sites including a good background summary and cv. Most people usually update their LinkedIn only but if you treat the other sites like LinkedIn you'll get opportunities

Itβs not your fault, itβs the system that auto rejects CVs - some donβt even reach the hiring managers. Regroup, use Claude the next time - ask it to tailor your CV for the job youβre applying for (upload your CV & the job description). Search TikTok for tutorials.
