D1: @FirstWaveFC vs. @WashingtonSqFC @broadwaygunners vs. @MVUFC_2013 @providencecity_ vs. @GPS_Omens Eagles vs. @kendallwanderer A @BrocktonUnitFc vs. MIT

D1: 2nd straight big clash for @FirstWaveFC at @GPS_Omens.. Twitter buds collide when early leaders @providencecity_ visit @WashingtonSqFC. @kendallwanderer host promoted side @MVUFC_2013. @broadwaygunners are at MIT. Eagles idle with @BrocktonUnitFc in Fricker Cup.

All even between two of the big boys of D1 as @FirstWaveFC & @kendallwanderer draw 1-1 on opening day.

D1 Match Day 1 Schedule: Defending champs GPS open at promoted side MVU. MVU's promoted cohort are both home: Prov City host MIT while Brockton face Wash Square. New look Broadway Gunners host Eagles. A big early season clash between First Wave & Kendall completes the slate.

One of D1's Big 4 (@FirstWaveFC, @GPS_Omens, @kendallwanderer, now Broadway Gunners) has won the last 14 titles. MIT & Eagles challenged early in 2018: can they break through? Could sophomores @WashingtonSqFC or NKOTB @providencecity_, @BrocktonUnitFc or @MVUnitedFC party crash?

The highlight of the D1 slate looks to be First Wave (2nd in 2018) vs. Kendall A (3rd + Cup champs). 3-time defending champs GPS visit playoff winners MVU. D2 champs Prov City host MIT. Fellow promoted side Brockton are home to Wash Square. Rebranded Broadway Gunners host Eagles.

In D1, Brandeis appeared to get the result they needed on Saturday with a 3-0 win over Wash Square + champs GPS' win over Warehouse, but the Squares took a point off Kendall A on Sunday to push BFC into 8th on the head to head tiebreaker. First Wave sealed 2nd by beating Kendall.

The battle to avoid the D1 relegation playoff remains a 3-team affair with Brandeis & Washington Square facing off on Saturday while Warehouse host champions GPS. First Wave vs. Kendall could decide 2nd place & Kendall/Wash Square pull double-duty with a Sunday game as well.

D1 Match Day 17 Recap: Only 3 league fixtures due to GPS/Kendall @opencup tie (1-0 to Omens). A forfeit loss to First Wave sends down Broadway; same for Southie's loss to Eagles. In relegation playoff scrap, a narrow loss to MIT leaves Brandeis right with Wash Square & Warehouse.

D1: Kendall can move within 2 points of GPS w/ a 2nd win in 4 days after midweek Cup triumph. To keep pace First Wave need to beat Eagles, who still have an outside shot. MIT host Wash Square in mid-table. Relegation scrap: Southie need all 3 at Warehouse; Broadway-BFC 6-pointer.

D1 Match Day 15 Update: Wins for GPS (Broadway), First Wave (Wash Square) & Kendall (Warehouse) keep the title race tight. Eagles keep title hope alive while all but eliminating MIT's. Critical relegation win for Brandeis over Southie.

D1: Leaders GPS look to maintain their lead hosting a Broadway side who can't afford to drop points. First Wave look for a 2nd win in 3 weeks over Wash Square. Kendall visit in-form Warehouse. Winner of MIT/Eagles could hang in title tilt. Brandeis/Southie a relegation 6-pointer.
