I've always said it's idiotic to 'blame' - or 'hold it against' - great players for being on great teams.
@fishsports The constant disrespect toward Emmitt Smith is getting old. People keep trying to discredit his accomplishments by pointing to the great offensive line he played behind. Kevin Gogan, Nate Newton, Mark Stepnoski, and Mark Tuinei were already on the roster before he arrived. The Cowboys were the worst team in the NFL in 1989. Once he showed up in 1990, they started winning. He was great at every level.
