While onchain is quiet, this is the time to get on @ggdotxyz, follow the active callers on the feed and go through the alpha
@0xDaes "I've seen this pattern all year, we hit a low period, the people who stay active dig up gems and when activity comes back they're already in before everything pulls a 10x"

Permissionless Finance and Decentralization is hard.
Its easy to take shortcuts.
But this won't work in the end.
This is why we build for these properties from the start.
Everything Onchain.
Everything can survive on its own.

Next up: Promising Products Track.

The markets right now are rough.
Not a lot of onchain activity.
Makes it hard for everyone.
Even the top projects on many chains are struggling.
But this is when building moves the needle.
This is when you get shit done.
Markets and economies always ebb and flow.
It does not change the mission or the goal.
If you believe in what you are doing and have real conviction, you keep shipping.
You keep talking to the community.
You keep doing whatever it takes to win.
So many take the easy way out and just say, "Fuck it, that didn't work out. Let's move on to the next failure."
This behaviour is sometimes even applauded (entrepreneurial spirit), but it's always someone else holding the bag.
There needs to be less of that.
We need to hold people accountable for their actions and stop enriching repeat offenders.
Things will change, and the people here for real will win.

We will be adjusting Liquidity incentives starting tomorrow.
We will be switching focus to the STATICS/USDG Pool and will be only providing rewards paid in USDG.
We will be distributing 3000 USDC next week to LPs who have in range liquidity on the $STATICS/$USDG pool.
new on gg this week
→ get notified when your call goes up
→ share your win in one tap
→ scroll back through a chart's full history
→ see which app or wallet each trade came from
→ blue check on verified tokens
→ copy a token's address faster
→ clearer errors when you're short on network fees
back to the trenches

starting to think btc was invented specifically to liquidate you
you don't even hold any
I have been around since 2018.
I believe in decentralization.
I believe in permissionless finance.
I am one of the few builders in this space for reasons that don't entirely involve money.
I am tired.
I am tired of the extraction.
I am tired of not wanting to use anything being built because I do not want to be exit liquidity.
It is why I build.
If you have been around as long as I have, you would remember what was promised when this all started.
It was fewer intermediaries.
It was self-custody.
It was a way to opt out of a very broken system.
I'll be brutally honest here:
We are trading one broken system for another if we don't smarten up.
There is still a battle being waged, and it is up to us to make sure it goes the right way.
This all started for a reason. Did we all forget 2008?
If we don't want to repeat history, we need to be different.
Others may not be capable of walking this path.
But I am.
I am here for the battle, and I will not ever give up.
Everything I'm building is designed to be walked away from if needed.
It is designed to not be stopped.
It has admin knobs, sure, but it does NOT need them.
What does this mean?
It means that if it came down to compromising the protocol or throwing away the keys (including any future protocol revenue) to make sure users could continue to use the system, then I'm always choosing to throw away the keys.
But this does not have to happen.
I am also building permissioned infrastructure that can live beside the permissionless version.
I am not stupid.
I realize there is a line to be walked, especially when it comes to RWAs.
But it's OUR job to make sure we aren't taking shortcuts and that we are still building systems that are safe and secure without taking away the very things we fought so hard for.
There is still a whole world of users who have no access to proper banking, no access to investments, and no access to yield. But they have access to the internet...
So I am going to continue building every day.
I'm never going to stop fighting.
Everyone wants to make money. But remember what happens when things blow up like they did in 2008.
It is the user left holding the bag, always.
It is the user paying to clean up the mess.
It is the user always providing the bailout.
Let's not do this again.
