Replying to @GovSherrillNJ
I highly suggest you also lead us towards clean natural gas & away from RGGI & premature electrification, considering your plan to generate that power is solar (unreliable & therefore supplemental.) New nuclear energy (a great choice) is light years away from actual production. We do need power NOW.
Jersey doesn't run on your wishful thinking, @GovSherrillNJ. The last time you said "natural gas" was when you also shared a lot of other hot air in your State of the State address.

Pemberton Township Mayor Matthew Bianchini, as seen in video shot by a reporter with the Pine Barrens Tribune, charged a vocal critic at last night's council meeting in a moment that is already making significant waves as it is simply unprecedented in local and regional politics.
The mayor had to be held back by a former police chief who was the township's director of Community Development that he had fired just two weeks ago, and was further restrained and removed from the room by an ex-cop who is now a councilman, but not before the mayor told the resident, "I am getting you – I am fu***** getting you!”
The resident then demanded the mayor's immediate arrest (which did not appear to occur). Ultimately, all of those involved in the altercation were asked to leave the meeting. We will have coverage in this weekend's paper of what led up to this and the reaction to the incident.

One million noncitizens of voting age live in New Jersey.
Rep. Van Drew, House Judiciary Committee Subpoena Sherrill Administration Over Thousands of Noncitizens Registered to Vote
Washington, DC - Today, Congressman Van Drew, Chairman of the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Oversight, announced that the Committee on the Judiciary and the Committee on House Administration have issued a subpoena to Governor Mikie Sherrill's administration after nearly three months of efforts to obtain answers about the improper registration of approximately 6,600 noncitizens on New Jersey's voter rolls, hundreds of whom went on to cast ballots.
"We have given Governor Sherrill's administration every opportunity to provide answers, and they have failed to do so," said Congressman Van Drew. "Thousands of people told the state they were not American citizens, yet they were registered to vote anyway. Hundreds actually voted. The state knew about this failure in 2024, and somehow these registrations remained on the rolls for nearly two years. We started with letters, we asked straightforward questions, and we pursued congressional oversight. Instead of getting answers, we got political attacks and a handful of documents that explain next to nothing. If it was simply a software glitch, then show us the evidence. Who knew about it? Why wasn't it fixed sooner? And what about people who may have falsely claimed to be citizens and were never independently verified?
"I want to thank Chairman Jim Jordan, Chairman Bryan Steil, and Chairwoman Laurel Lee for working with me to take this important next step. We did not blame Governor Sherrill for a failure that began under the Murphy administration, but she is responsible for providing answers now."
The subpoena requires Acting Secretary of State Shirley Emehelu to produce records by November 16, 2026, including documents concerning the software failure, citizenship verification safeguards, communications with the state's technology vendor, and efforts to remove improperly registered voters.
Read the subpoena below.

If NJ Republicans turn out to vote we will have a great new Senator.
"FINISH IT": Republican Senate candidate and Navy veteran Justin Murphy delivered a blunt answer when asked about Trump's approach to Iran during a New Jersey debate.
Murphy also challenged Sen. Cory Booker's record in Washington, questioning why the Democrat blames Trump while serving in the branch of government responsible for writing laws, taxes and budgets.
New Jersey hasn't elected a Republican to the U.S. Senate since 1972 — a decades-long streak that adds another dimension to the race.

🚨 NJ LEGAL CRISIS: CONTAMINATED PROSECUTIONS UNDER SCRUTINY ⚖️
New Jersey legal experts are sounding the alarm. When a high ranking state prosecutor faces severe felony charges, defense attorneys immediately look to appeal, freeze, or overturn past rulings.
Following the October 2026 arrest of New Jersey Deputy Attorney General Brian Fitzgerald on felony charges in Bucks County, PA, his entire professional timeline is under a legal microscope.
The structural fallout of his decade long career reveals severe system wide vulnerabilities:
• THE CHRISTIE APPOINTMENT: Originally appointed to his role under the administration of former Governor Chris Christie, Fitzgerald served as a long term institutional fixture within the state’s regulatory framework.
• THE FRAUD CORRIDORS: Operating as the lead state prosecutor within the NJ Division of Law’s Banking and Insurance Section, he litigated and secured numerous high value civil enforcement, regulatory misconduct, and fraud judgments.
• THE ETHICS COMMITTEE COMPROMISE: Fitzgerald wasn't just a prosecutor; he was a high level member of the District VII Ethics Committee. The committee was legally responsible for investigating and disciplining practicing attorneys for misconduct.
Defense teams are already reviewing every public filing, civil judgment, and regulatory penalty he litigated on behalf of the State of New Jersey.
Furthermore, previously disciplined attorneys now have an unprecedented path to argue that Fitzgerald's active felony charges completely destroyed the moral authority and credibility required to enforce ethical standards.
👇 NJ Taxpayers & Voters: Should the State Attorney General’s office launch an immediate independent audit into every case Fitzgerald touched over the last decade? Let's debate below.

Not only is Rep. Ilhan Omar’s husband, Tim Mynett, a New Jersey native who grew up in Sussex County,

but in April 2026, Rep. Ilhan Omar officially endorsed Dr. Adam Hamawy for New Jersey's 12th Congressional District.
For context, Hamawy has faced significant scrutiny over his past personal and legal ties to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing:
In the early 1990s, Hamawy traveled with and served as a translator for Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman, the "Blind Sheikh" later convicted of orchestrating the 1993 bombing and other terror plots.
Hamawy voluntarily testified as a defense witness during Abdel-Rahman’s federal trial to challenge an informant's claims, though he acknowledged under cross-examination that the cleric regularly preached about jihad.
Hamawy was never charged with any crime and went on to serve in the U.S. military. His campaign defended his actions as a standard "civic duty" under subpoena, noting he later treated 9/11 victims at the WTC.
Dr. Adam Hamawy is on the ballot for a House seat in New Jersey's 12th congressional district.
Please vote red. Republican Gregg Mele is running against Dr. Adam Hamawy for House!
🚨 UPDATE: THE NEW JERSEY TO D.C. TRAJECTORY OF TIM MYNETT 🚨
As our previous report on Rep. Ilhan Omar’s husband continues to gain massive traction across New Jersey (now crossing 19K+ views), critical new timeline data has emerged.
Before building a powerhouse D.C. consulting network, Sussex County native Tim Mynett got his start interning for NJ Rep. Bill Pascrell (2003–2004).
Newly uncovered filings track exactly where that local runway launched him:
• ALLIANCE FOR JUSTICE (2004–2008): Immediately following his NJ internship, Mynett transitioned to Washington as a Foundation Manager for this influential progressive judicial advocacy nonprofit.
• NEW PARTNERS CONSULTING (2009–2014): Operating as Senior Director for a firm founded by top Obama campaign strategists, he directed major finance operations. This included fundraising for future MN Attorney General Keith Ellison and managing strategic financial planning for the SEIU’s massive "Change That Works" healthcare campaign.
• THE STRATEGIC CONSULTANCIES (2014–2022): Through the Mynett Group and E Street Group, he scaled operations to handle high-level digital fundraising for a prominent congressional roster:
- Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN)
- Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI)
- Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA)
- Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO)
- Rep. Veronica Escobar (D-TX)
What began as a local North Jersey congressional internship systematically integrated him directly into the inner circle of legacy Obama campaign aides and national progressive fundraising networks.

Governor Sherrill, when New Jersey loses jobs, you blame Trump. When New Jersey’s unemployment rate falls, you take credit.
You called Trump’s economy a bust when national unemployment was 4.2%. Now you’re celebrating New Jersey reaching the same 4.2%.
And New Jersey lost 23,600 payroll jobs in July and August while its unemployment rate was falling.
So who gets the credit and who gets the blame? How does your accounting work?
When I took office nine months ago, New Jersey’s unemployment rate was 5.2%. Today, it’s down to 4.2%. That’s real progress for New Jersey families – and we’re just getting started.
While job growth stagnates nationwide under Donald Trump and American families face soaring grocery and gas prices, we’re charting a different path here in New Jersey.
We’re focused on delivering what matters: lower costs, good jobs, less red tape from government, and more opportunities for our families and small businesses to get ahead.
Everyone in NJ knows the fix is in, Rebecca Bennett is going to be installed and there is nothing we can do about it because our elections are not secure.

She was installed. A transplant from VA just like Rebecca Bennett. No connection AT ALL to NJ. I truly believe her election and the previous one were illegitimate in light of the revelations about non citizens voting in NJ. That’s why she refuses to do anything about it.

New Jersey, the husband of Rep. Ilhan Omar is Tim Mynett. He grew up in Vernon Township, Sussex County, NJ. Graduated Vernon Township High School class of 1999.
Mynett interned for Rep. Bill Pascrell (NJ 8th / 9th district). This internship is what launched him into politics and campaigns. He then moved on to Washington DC to work as a progressive fundraiser and consultant.
Point of interest. Pascrell use to be mayor of Paterson. His congressional district also represented Paterson. Paterson is now considered "Little Palestine".

It's called "Treason" Military sentenced him to death.
Worried her kids (In the Naval Academy) would be scarred if asked to perform their "Duty" to carry out the execution.
Mikie Sherrill sued the Navy twice
Broke the "Honor Code"
She called for jailing of President tho.
There has been a lot of discussion about Hegseth's plan to publicly execute Nidal Hasan, but not enough about what this means. Nidal Hasan killed 13 innocent soldiers and deserves to be brought to justice. But a televised public spectacle of an execution is contrary to the values that this nation stands for and that I took oaths to protect. It is hard to understand how Congress has not called an emergency session to block it.
One aspect of this in particular keeps me up at night: the horror of detailing soldiers to be in the firing squad. Most veterans like myself are unfamiliar with firing squads because our military hasn't used one in over 80 years. From my understanding, they are usually made up of three to seven personnel, with some rifles being loaded with blanks to "reduce psychological harm."
I think about my own kids serving in the military, and I imagine a young service member getting detailed to the firing squad, feeling they have to follow orders despite any moral objection or personal opposition. Just about anyone who has served in combat can tell you about the toll it takes. This is different and worse: firing on someone for the public spectacle of it.
It infuriates me that, in an ode to Trump and Hegseth's warped view of toughness, the United States would sanction a military firing squad simply for the pageantry of it — no matter how it harms our service members. It is disgusting that this Administration is essentially glorifying violence and death by firearm — something we already have too much of in this country. It infuriates me to think of all the Members of Congress who have thanked me for my service on Veterans Day, but have said nothing about this and refuse to hold Trump and Hegseth accountable. It infuriates me that soldiers will be scarred for life if this goes forward — for no other reason beyond Pete Hegseth's vanity.
I imagine the young person getting detailed to the firing squad and doing their duty, following their orders. And I think of the lasting impact that will have on them. I just wish the two men in charge of our military cared half as much about the men and women who serve as they do about themselves.
