Rolling her eyes, but she grinned when she turned off the A2 to switch to the M25. “You and the doctor, you do love to interfere, don’t you?”

Eyes flicking to him for a split second. Not because he’d switched sides, she knew he’d do whatever it took to stay alive and come back to her. But because she was growing increasingly curious. “Don’t tell me Merlin was real as well?”

“Did you ever meet the Norman king?” He’d definitely piqued her curiosity, so yes; that’s where she’d drive them to.

“Well, since this car can’t fly; yes.” A little sarcasm but she was chuckling as she floored the accelerator once they hit the freeway.

And there she’s starting the car. “Pick a town, Mr. Pond.”

“You are when you’re still standing there.” A sarcastic brow raised.

She’s jumping into the driver’s seat, jingling the keys with a grin. “A drive down the down the coast to start with.”
