This week Flash has officially become the longest I’ve worked on a single title and character. I’d had 174 pages of Superman and 144 pages of JSA under my belt and I’ve now hit 180 pages of The Flash, with many more to go.

It’s really funny how people see the flash be a powerful superhero and go “wow, captain cold can beat him? The flash must be stupid” rather than the correct takeaway of “Captain Cold is the scariest guy I’ve seen in my life”

I’m kinda convinced most of the DCU flash rumours are faked to get engagement so I’m just gonna ignore them until we get something more concrete

Really sad to see all the comic pirating sites getting eliminated one by one. People will really celebrate less accessibility to art for the sake of an industries future

I love how whenever Tom King comes up in the discourse, you get a round of “do you just hate Tom King for political reasons?” as if his work is so good as to be utterly unimpeachable as works of superhero fiction

I understand that you think anything the DCU does is good and anything anyone else suggests is bad but don't fucking act like you've ever read a Flash comic and know what you're talking about

I seriously cannot stress this enough, before this show comes out, please, PLEASE read the OG material to get a good understanding of their characters! Specifically Jack Kirby, but there’s a few other good comics too. They’re not too-too long of a read, but it’s a good chunk.

My take on western comics vs manga is quite simple While they absolutely have distinctions from each other, I think if you truly love comics/sequential art you wouldn’t be picking one or the other – and in your mind this isn’t even a worthwhile debate
