Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it turns golden-brown and smells nutty (6–8 minutes). Immediately pour into a heatproof bowl and chill until cool and beginning to solidify (about 1 hour). 2. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment. 3. Beat the cooled browned butter with both sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla; beat until blended. 4. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually mix into the butter mixture until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. 5. Drop 1 T of dough 1 inch apart on the cookie sheet. Bake 8-11 minutes until edges are golden and centers are set. Cool on a wire rack.
