You can now clap mechs so hard in the head they lose control of their bodies before going to mecheaven.

So vehicle mounted jumpjets might not be practical for commuting. However I am interested to see if this tech can be developed for stuff like helping helicopters make controlled emergency landings, or as a safety measure to prevent 18 wheelers from tipping over.

Like if a helicopter could have a compact version of the system that is powerful enough to counter and steady an out of control spin/drop and provide enough braking thrust to turn a lethal crash into a survivable one. Would love to know the math on that.

#brigador one day the thought occurred to me that there would people within the brigador setting that would be the most obnoxious weeaboos but for spacers. And thus "Speebs" were born.

Just finished watching Buffet Infinity. Very much an escalating series of low budget commercials and news reports. Really enjoyed it.

Shots from the Drekfort's demo setup at PAX West a few days ago. Really amazing week--would love to do this again. Made possible by the omnipotent supersoldiers of Stellar Jockeys with whom we shared the booth. Thanks to everyone that came up to Seattle to see us!

Hardface welding is an interesting potential option for sci fi gear when you want a touch of future primitive or some similar vibe. If you haven't seen it, it's basically weld beads applied as a sacrificial wear surface

There's two 'noncanon' mechs in MWO and MW5 that I really like. The Roughneck I've covered. The other's the Corsair. I'm not an assault mech guy. Too expensive, too slow. But this one, I liked. Because it makes people have to confront the notion...Of Frankenmechs. 1/9🧵

Man, this is genuinely heartbreaking. Please god Watch Mad God. It’s such an Ernest labor of hard work.
