🚨 BREAKING: A MAJOR STEP TOWARD FEDERAL CANNABIS DESCHEDULING! 🌿 On October 29, 2026, Congressman Steve Cohen of Tennessee announced the Public Health and Research Reforms in Controlled Substances Act of 2026, a proposal calling for FULL FEDERAL DESCHEDULING, NOT RESCHEDULING! The bill seeks to completely remove cannabis from the Controlled Substances Act (CSA), expand scientific research, modernize drug scheduling, and eliminate federal mandatory minimum sentences for drug offenses. If passed, the federal changes would apply nationwide, not just in Tennessee. 💰 WHAT ABOUT TAXES? The proposal does not appear to introduce a new federal cannabis excise tax. Full descheduling could also eliminate IRS Section 280E restrictions for cannabis businesses, potentially providing significant financial relief. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: This bill has been introduced, NOT passed. Cannabis remains federally controlled, and states would retain authority over their own cannabis laws. 🌎 DESCHEDULE EARTH WANTS YOUR OPINION! Are we finally seeing real progress toward federal cannabis descheduling, or are politicians simply putting more descheduling bills on the table to give advocacy groups hope that change is coming? We've seen promises before, but will this time be different? Is this genuine progress or just another political distraction? 🌿 What do YOU think? Drop your thoughts in the comments! #DescheduleEarth #DescheduleDontReschedule #CannabisReform
