In the Idaho logging woods-big timber country (ha!) by Cape Horn near the Sawtooths on Salmon-Challis Forest. Tiny diameter slow growth lodgepoles here. Much of tree becomes slash pile waste. Dogs jet to shade as it’s super hot in the sun. Just pathetic.

Oh great - EPA gutting stream protections even more than they're already proposing. Because everyone wants more toxic mine waste, cowshit, hog farm & discharged data center water in our ever-more depleted fresh water.

BLM trying to ax American Prairie Bison grazing is all about total GREED of the cattle industry & beliefs of crazed zealots like Trump Interior official Karen Budd_Falen. B/4 galloping to Interior in Trump 2.0, she was the lawyer for these cattlemen.🧵

Made me smile- a lodgepole pine toppled into an old cow chute & corral at Bear Valley. The cow permit was bought out & retired decades ago due to cows trashing Salmon spawning habitat & how hard it was to run cows trucked in from afar amid many trees. Look at the habitat now. 🧵

We support the Voluntary Grazing Permit Retirement Act (H.R. 5785) as it offers a solution toward ending livestock damage in Wilderness. This bill will work to bolster protection of public lands and Wilderness areas fairly and permanently.

Sage-grouse disappeared in North Dakota while Trump's fawning Interior Sec. Doug Burgum was Governor. No birds in 2025. This year "Only one male and one female sage grouse were observed". Did the Game Dept. flush them across the state border for the count?
