|| so obsessed with the way little Evie talks. Every other sentence just worded slightly wrong or convoluted. I love it
She curves her hands around her eyes, blocking out the light as much as she can.
"Because everything was too loud. And bright. And just too big."
Grumbling, she rubs at her eyes before looking properly to her mother.
The jumping makes her giggle, arms gripping onto his shoulders tightly all throughout the journey. Seemingly a lot happy with the TARDIS in flight.
"Brakes! Brakes!" She reminds him when they're ready to land.
Stretching down towards the console, she presses the button.
"Go!" She exclaims loudly, smiling brightly as she does so for the first time that afternoon, as the TARDIS fires up.

"Somewhere where no one else is. And there's long grass and wind. But not loud wind," she replies, looking up to him.
"I just want to feel like the universe is bigger but safer."
There's a lot she wants him to do, but his question is particular. And there's a lot she wants him to do that he can't. Or won't.
"Maybe go on a trip for the rest of the day," she suggests after a moment of thinking.

"I think we just need to think harder on a good solution."
Because in her head, there's no reason why there can't be a solution where everyone's happy.
"Yes! But maybe she'll be more mean if Evelyn isn't there and then that wouldn't be fair on them."
Regardless of his soothing gestures, she's getting a little worked up as she tries to figure out the implications of it all.
"This sounds like a grown-up conversation."
