Big endorsement for @JohnRoseforTN today. I guess they didn’t buy into the bogus memo put out by the opposition this week.
In my 34 years in TN politics, the one endorsement Republicans wait on is the stalwart conservative Chattanooga Free Press & today, between 2 hard core conservative Gov candidates it likes, the Free Press says @JohnRoseforTN has earned the nod while Blackburn’s campaign has underwhelmed:
“Blackburn's been in politics since the last century…we don't believe voters in this state owe her the crowning achievement of making her governor…We believe Republican voters are looking for an alternative, and we believe Rose is not just the
right alternative but the right person with the right qualifications to be Tennessee's next
governor.”
This incident was the Marsha Meltdown. Marsha melted when asked simple questions about the campaign. She cannot articulate why she is running for Governor or why she won’t debate. Marsha must have dropped her talking points on the way to the elevator. newschannel5.com/news/newsch…
Voters are not stupid and they will understand that on Jan 6, Marsha flipped her commitment to President Trump and voted for Biden. John Rose stood with President Trump and election integrity.
I guess @FormerChairman & @JohnRoseforTN think voters are stupid. They've not forgotten how John defended VP Mike Pence's certifying the 2020 election and say @realDonaldTrump was WRONG. What's that old saying about glass houses? Bush league.

If you spent half as much time talking to actual voters as you do screaming at donors/boards in ranting 1AM emails, phone calls and texts trying to get ppl fired/threatening to hold your vote hostage in Congress y'all might not be still fighting for 2nd place with Monty. BTW, we all just share the texts and emails and have a good laugh. Talk about barking seals.
Well, this statement is desperate. The truth: @JohnRoseforTN gave an impassioned talk mentioning our Senior Senator abandoning President Trump on Jan. 6. Fact. The only people who booed were the 20 clapping seals paid by Marsha in the back of the room. Enjoy Sea World.
I've seen a lot of things in TN politics, but watching John Rose get booed off stage by hundreds of Republicans tonite after lashing out at his opponents during the TN Young Republicans Dinner was one for the books. Both Monty and Marsha were tremendously respectful & graceful after that embarrassing moment for Rose. Desperation is never a good look.
