Asking for prayers again for my wife. She's been in the hospital since Tuesday, 10/27. She had a major stroke on the right side of her brain causing paralysis on her left side. At the same time there was a smaller stroke on her left side of the brain with pinprick bleeding. I haven't slept more than 3-4 hours a night since Tuesday. She's out of the danger zone, but still paralyzed and her blood pressure is still spiking. I'm very scared I might lose my wife or that she'll never be able to walk and do things like she used to again.
This all started in June of 2025 when I left Tesla, it triggered a major anxiety event in her. I was making good money at Tesla, enough for us to survive on and be okay and then suddenly I wasn't and that triggered an episode in her. I know that sounds crazy, but that's what happened. At the time I thought Elon Musk was acting really out of sorts with the whole Trump/Epstein thing and I felt I couldn't continue working there. That and I hated my job. I was begging for tech services for a year and they just kept me on the phones, which for a guy who likes to work with his hands and not talk to people was like psychological torture. So after I quit, she had kind of breakdown and I was unemployed for 6 months with nothing but savings to live on. She got so anxious she ended up in the ER with super high BP. Since then she's racked up over 100k in Emergency room debts and has been diagnosed with Anxiety Disorder and prescribed BP meds, and a host of psyche pills that didn't do anything to help her. Honestly, if I'd known how my quitting would have affected her, I absolutely would not have. At the time I had enough to cover expenses for at least 4 months and was going to find a good tech job, but with her health going down the tubes it turned into a chaotic nightmare.
Fast forward to the other night, Monday, 10/27, she complained that her left hand was numb and weak. I thought maybe she slept on it wrong, or maybe was holding the phone too much. Hours and hours later, she said it was getting weaker. I took her to the emergency room. They determined it was probably a lack of B12. They ran a blood test but didn't do any CT scans in case it was a stroke. They're familiar with my wife and assume everything she says is just her anxiety talking, so they figured she was just freaking out over nothing and didn't bother to even consider a stroke. Although, they know she's on BP meds and her BP was something like 165/110 at the time.
So Tuesday, when I got out of work I came home and saw she was slumped over and talking very slowly. She could not move her left arm and every time she tried to step forward her body turned left and almost fell. That's when I knew she was in big trouble. I called 911 had the ambulance come and take her in. I told the ER crew what happened. They saw it was her and just assumed it was anxiety again. So they stuck in her in a room and the hours kept going by. I persistently asked when she was going to get CT scans, they kept saying it's on the schedule. We went in at 3:45 PM on Tuesday, they did the scans close to 8 PM and that's when they realized she was having a major stroke.
They rushed her to the ICU and by that time her whole left side was completely dysfunctional. I broke down in tears, this is all my fault after all. The next day they do the MRI. The doctor tells me, "Looks like the stroke started on Monday-" (when she went in with the numb and weak left hand) "-and now that we've seen the MRI it's worse then we thought. She's outside the window for any effective treatment, so we'll have to consider surgery or other options."
I was wrecked. Here we are on Sunday, she's still in the hospital and her left arm is completely paralyzed. She's still out of it mentally. Her left leg has some function but she can't stand or walk.
I need prayers for her recovery, please. I'm mad at the hospital for not doing the CT scan on Monday when she would have been in the window for immediate treatment that would have prevented brain damage. I'm mad at myself for quitting Tesla and causing her to have a major anxiety episode that led to this.
I want to clarify on this prayer request, that I 100% NOT blaming Elon Musk for my wife's condition. As stated, I am the one responsible. It was my choice. I wrote this early this morning in a state of grief and tiredness and I just told the story as it happened. As an electronics technician I chase the fault as far back as I can verify and this fault originates exactly at my departure from Tesla. Perhaps I could have just said I quit and left out the details of why, but I didn't think of that this morning.
Also, THANK YOU, everyone, who has taken the time to send prayers and give hope. Many of you are from all different walks of life and your humanity is shining for a stranger and that's what this world needs more of. I love you all.

Recently, I made the daring step to get out of high-pressure sales and venture back to my skill set as an electronics technician and am very excited to make the transition.
However there is a cost to such a bold step. I am the only income source in my family and the cost of living in Las Vegas is out of control. (Thanks to all the California people fleeing CA and have now incidentally skyrocketed rent, groceries and gas for us locals)
I don't start my job until 09/28 and have been unemployed for a week now. so the almost $4000 worth of bills due over the next 30 days is devastating to me and the family. If anyone needs any video editing work or any kind of help at all I'll gladly use my time to assist. I don't know how to charge for any kind of work so just let me know. I have cashapp $joetremblay and of course X Money. Thank you.
Saturday: Dario Amodei, Sam Altman, Demis Hassabis, and Elon Musk all lined up to say the AI race has to slow down.
Same Dario who said this thing could cure most major diseases and create a world of abundance.
Same Sam who sold ChatGPT as a tool for everyone. Now it’s “pace the frontier.”
Translation: we built the machine, we hyped the golden age, and now we want a velvet rope around it.
Watch who still gets access while they lecture the public about safety.

Call Center Burnout: Hate Your Job? Quit Before It Ruins You
A really short film created with Grok Imagine.

My 2nd entry into the Grok Imagine Odyssey contest. I did this in 7 hours today. There are flaws but I have to work tomorrow and am releasing it for views. This is the same character and world from my first entry “Nobody” which is pinned to my timeline. This is one of the hardest scenes in my opinion because of the bow string. No matter how clever I prompted, a bow string always appeared. Quite frustrating! But so much fun. @grok @imagine @elonmusk

Homer had a lyre. You have Grok Imagine.
Create a compelling scene from Homer’s The Odyssey that shows what Grok @Imagine’s video and voice capabilities can do. We’re awarding $100K, $50K, and $25K to the top three videos submitted by quoting this post. 🧵
UPDATE: I finally figured out how to remove the bow string and I'm pissed I didn't think of it earlier. Prompt the bow with a bright neon green string and then use chroma key to get rid of it in post production. You'll have to create another duplicate like video below to keep it from looking funky but it works.
Last day of the Grok Odyssey Contest. It was a joy to participate in and I made some new friends. Best of luck to all. @grok @imagine
Just finished this. Had a lot of fun making it with Grok Imagine even though the production issues were brutal.
Wish I had more time to polish it, but I wanted to get it out early enough to actually have a shot at impressions.
Please like and repost if you can.I missed several days of work to finish this and my job might legit be on the line lol… but honestly I don’t care. This kind of work is my passion and I wish I could get paid to do it full time somewhere.
Thank you so much to anyone who shares it. Means a lot. @grok @imagine

My second entry to the Grok Imagine Homer's Odyssey contest. Maybe not as good as the first... ran out of credits and only spent 7 hours, but super fun.

We're nearing the finish line for the Grok Imagine Odyssey Contest using @grok @imagine I hope @elonmusk . the judges and anyone who watches it likes it. I'm thinking of doing another entry of another scene, the Slaughter of the Suitors, but it's a hard one. We'll see if I can get it done by the deadline.
