Strong coordination between the National and County Governments is driving real progress in delivering services directly to our people, especially at the grassroots, under the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
In my meeting with the County Assembly Forum (CAF), we moved beyond discussion and focused on practical steps to accelerate the consolidation of devolution. We are strengthening coordination between national and county leadership, reinforcing governance structures, and sharpening accountability mechanisms to ensure devolution delivers visible, measurable results for wananchi across every part of our country.
I reaffirmed our collective resolve to push devolution to the next level, ensuring resources, services, and opportunities reach every village, every community, and every Kenyan who depends on government to work for them.
Present during the meeting were Hon. Chege Mwaura, CAF Secretary General, Hon. Phillip Muigei, Speaker Uasin Gishu, Hon. Kevin Katisya, Speaker Kitui, Hon. Hanifa Mbadi, Chair Majority Leaders Chapter, Hon. Jades Kalunda, Chair Minority Leaders Chapter, Hon. Beatrice Mitaru, Chair PWD Caucus, and Ms. Lonah Losem, CAF Chief Executive Officer.
