As we are now into the weekend, and the weather for the next couple off days looks settled, @fire_scot crews in highlands have been in attendance at a few wildfires, those who do control burning, please notify fire control, enjoy the countryside, be careful and be aware

We need people to join Scotland’s fight against fire, deliberate fire setting is an offence, don’t accept it report it. SFRS sees an increase in the amount of outdoor fires over the spring season these take firefighters away from other incidents and could put life at risk.

I'm walking 11,000 steps a day in March for Prostate Cancer UK. Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK, killing one man every 45 minutes. It doesn't have to be that way.

It’s been a challenging 24 hour period for our firefighters, control staff and officers who have been dealing with a number of significant wildfires. Please exercise extreme caution and think twice before using disposable barbecues or lighting campfires.
⚠️ As lockdown restrictions are eased in Scotland, please be aware that a 'VERY HIGH' risk of wildfire remains in place until Monday⚠️
After several weeks of dry conditions, our countryside is tinder dry - and vulnerable to fire.
