There’s a buzz around Byker. Is it from electing a @TheGreenParty councillor? I’m biased on that. Is it @TheGroveNCL bringing great music? Is it @FoundFutureNE & Byker Mutual Aid helping to support and connect? All the above. See @BigIssue’s write-up: bigissue.com/news/social-jus…

The real Byker Grove: Inside the youth clubs that inspired Ant and Dec's childhood TV classic

From deep poverty to school exclusions and gang violence, kids in Byker face big obstacles. What would a realistic Byker Grove show us today?

Some of our Yr.10 students enjoyed the Stronger Together Conference organised via @FoundFutureNE. Empowering girls to stand up for each other, instilling confidence and challenging misogynistic attitudes.

A brilliant Social Action Project completed by our Year 9 ThisLife22 Group with @FoundFutureNE. They baked cakes and sold them and contributions from staff to raise £334.89 for @MaggiesCentres at the Freeman Hospital! We were really touched at how many staff donated lovely cakes!
