For Lula to reach approximately 64.2 million votes in the second round of Brazil’s 2026 presidential election, the arithmetic would require this impossible combination of actions:
Core retention:
• Retain 100% of his first-round votes
(roughly 53.9 million)
New or redirected support
• Capture 100% of the roughly 3 million voters who had abstained in the first round but turned out in the second
(abstention fell from about 21.1% to 19.2%)
• Receive 100% of the approximately 1.8 million votes that had been blank or null in the first round and were converted into valid ballots in the runoff
(null and blank votes declined between rounds)
• Win roughly 60% of the votes previously cast for the eliminated candidates, i.e., Augusto Cury, Renan Santos, Ronaldo Caiado, Romeu Zema, (all right-wing candidates who expressed admiration for Flávio Bolsonaro) and the smaller remaining names, who together held about 9.3 million votes in the first round.
The election was clearly a coup d'état by Lula da Silva and his campaign, IMO. It was rigged. But what else would you expect from a communist dictator and former convicted criminal? Once communists establish rule in a country there's no voting them out, folks. The people either have to rise up and take their country back or a friendly nation on the outside has to come in and do it for them. Take your pick.

Fascinating, isn’t it?
Lula, Fidel Castro’s old friend and an ally of Nicolás Maduro, with a deeply troubling record on censorship and authoritarianism, is simply “left-wing”.
Meanwhile, Flávio Bolsonaro, who advocates free markets, freedom of speech, individual liberty, and justice for those imprisoned over January 8, is branded “far-right”.
Apparently, defending freedom makes you an extremist, while embracing authoritarianism merely makes you a leftist.
Dear Telegraph, this isn’t impartial journalism. It’s ideological framing dressed up as reporting. The public deserves better than left-wing propaganda masquerading as objective news.
🇧🇷 Lula da Silva, Brazil’s Left-wing president, has won an unprecedented fourth term, beating his far-Right opponent Flávio Bolsonaro

The United States should give her the opportunity to go to Brazil or go to jail. But with this type statement, Delcy Rodriguez clearly is demonstrating her complete disdain for the @realDonaldTrump administration.
She needs to go and the U.S. should move to hold elections immediately.
A healthy, free, and democratic Venezuela is good for America’s future.

Oceanside and North San Diego County in general is considered a Republican bastion. Orange County & Riverside County are as well to a large extent. You can't trust the polls. Every Tom, Dick, & Harry is putting out fake polls to try & get Dems elected. Just ask the New York Times

That's ridiculous. Since Pres. Trump took office ten countries in Central and South America elected conservative leadership who were influenced by Pres. Trump's agenda. Lula & his cohorts clearly rigged the election and even the NYT expressed serious doubts about its legitimacy.

Dear Mr. Musk, @elonmusk
My name is Laiza Galvão.
I am a Brazilian citizen living in Bahia,
and I am writing because of serious
doubts about the electronic voting system used in our elections.
The machines, called urnas eletrônicas, record the votes and send the data to central computers. Many people here, including myself, have looked at the official graphs and numbers and cannot make them match ordinary statistical expectations or the patterns from earlier elections. The curves change in ways that look unnatural, and ordinary citizens have almost no access to the machines themselves, the software that runs them, or a clear view of how the data travels from the polling place to the final count.
Your companies design rockets, build electric cars that actually work, and solve technical problems most governments cannot handle. I am not asking for a political statement or any kind of campaign. I am asking whether a small group of the mathematicians and engineers who already work with you could spend a limited amount of time examining this as a technical question: how the urnas store and transmit the votes, whether the published results can be reproduced from the claimed inputs, and whether the graphs that were released are consistent with an unmodified counting process. A short, rigorous mathematical review that others can check would either confirm that the system works as claimed or show exactly where it does not.
You have often said that verifiable engineering and transparency matter more than institutional assurances. That principle applies here. If the same people who calculate orbital mechanics and battery chemistry can also look at a voting system and its data flows, the result would be useful no matter which side anyone prefers.
I am willing to share the public data sets, the official documents that exist, and any other information that might help. Thank you for reading this.
Sincerely,
Laiza Galvão

Flávio said his passports were seized the day after the election. What is Lula and his cohorts afraid of? Flávio had no intention of fleeing his home country, FYI. You'd think Lula would want Flávio to leave Brazil. But they likely want to lock him up. Like they did to his dad.💡

It’s very disappointing to see people who usually defend democracy somehow excuse the blatant irregularities in Brazil’s election as being acceptable to “stop authoritarianism”. Even if you agree that the polls should have been extended, the fact the order to do so was received so late meant that many municipalities had already closed their election stations and were forbidden from reopening them. It seems extremely suspicious in the least that the areas that hadn’t closed them were all seemingly Lula bastions.
An election lacks integrity if rules are inconsistently applied. Even Lula partisans should be able to understand that. Unless of course they are more interested in their favoured candidate winning rather than democracy itself.
Replying to @vonderleyen @LulaOficial
You're calling for a "rules-based global order" apparently not realizing the Brazil presidential election was stolen by former convicted criminal Lula da Silva. Lula requested a two hour nationwide voting extension and Lula's own hand-picked lawyer who he made a Supreme Court Justice granted the request AFTER the polls closed. The last minute extension disrupted the entire election process. Many of the polling stations had already closed. The ones that were still open were likely notified to stay open by Lula's cohorts who could then go in and manipulate the vote count in sections of the country that favored the former convicted criminal. The TSE is the legal authority in Brazil that deals with election issues. Not the Brazil Supreme Court, FYI. The TSE has no rules on the books that even allows for a nationwide voting extension. It has never been done before in the history of Brazil's elections. To congratulate a former convicted criminal of "winning" a rigged election just goes to show you how far Europe's will go to appease a communist dictator. You know what they say about dictators, right? They rig elections to stay in power. Just like Putin in Russia. Just like Maduro in Venezuela, and just like the Castro's in Cuba.
Shame on you Ursula von der Leyen and your so-called "rules-based global order" which appears to be a mere slogan and your good wishes to a former convicted criminal who rigged the election ultimately rings hollow by those truly concerned about freedom, liberty, and the rule of law.
True to form, Lula da Silva immediately pledged censorship after his self-declared victory for the far left. He added, "I was chosen by God. I always found that I had God’s finger on my head.” God, it appears, favors the denial of natural rights like free speech and freedom of expression. And don't be surprised if Lula orders his henchmen to arrest Flávio Bolsonaro and throw him in prison too, just like they did to his dad, Jair Bolsonaro, without a shred of evidence of any crime or wrongdoing. But that's communist dictator Lula da Silva for you. A great friend of Europe, apparently.

The Washington Post story is fake news. Flávio Bolsonaro has not conceded to former convicted criminal Lula da Silva. The statement "It wasn't me who lost, it was the system that won" was clearly referencing that the election was rigged by the last minute nationwide 2 hour voting extension AFTER the polls closed. It was Lula's hand-picked lawyer that he made a Supreme Court Justice who granted the extension but the TSE in Brazil is the legal authority that deals with election issues.
There has never been a nationwide voting extension in Brazil's history and there are no law(s) on the books to even make such a ruling. Many of the polls had already closed. The ones that were still open after 5:00 pm were likely the ones that Lula's cohorts informed to stay open so they could go in and manipulate the vote count in sections of the country that favored the former convicted criminal. Lula's a communist and he's also a dictator. And you know what they say about dictators. They rig elections to stay in power. Just like Putin in Russia. Just like Maduro in Venezuela, and just like the Castro's in Cuba.

It just goes to show you how corrupt and complicit Democrat politicians have become in California and around the country for that matter. Calif's election system essentially legalizes fraud. It has made it relatively easy for illegal aliens to vote in California elections. Sadly.
Flávio Bolsonaro's campaign requested an extension but his team petitioned the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) to extend voting by two hours (to 7 p.m.) in 17 municipalities across São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Minas Gerais, and Rio Grande do Sul, citing heavy rains, flooding, and power outages that prevented voters from reaching polling stations. OTOH, Lula's hand-picked lawyer he placed on the Brazil Supreme Court gave a two hour time extension for the whole country AFTER the polls close and no further voting is allowed. Many of the polling stations had already closed. The ones that were still open were likely open because Lula's communist cohorts made sure they were open in places that favored Lula in the election. The TSE is the legal authority for election issues, FYI. There are no rule(s) on the books at the TSE that even allows a nationwide voting extension, let alone, after the polling stations close. Leave it to the Left to favor a former convicted criminal who by all accounts rigged an election by hook or crook in order to stay in power. As dictators always seem to do, ICYMI.

Very depressing result out of Brazil. Another Stolen Election out in the open. I have seen people say it isn’t over. I seen that a dozen times and nothing ever happens once. I highly doubt anything will change. I remember what General Flynn said once: “If America falls where will you go?”
Definitely not Brazil. People say oh that will never happen. Really? Prime Example 101 as to why you need to get out and vote instead of complain.
The election wouldn't stand in an impartial court with an ounce of integrity. Yes, Flávio Bolsonaro's campaign also requested an extension. But his team petitioned the TSE (Superior Electoral Court) to extend voting by two hours (to 7 p.m.) in 17 municipalities across São Paulo, Paraná, Santa Catarina, Minas Gerais, and Rio Grande do Sul, citing heavy rains, flooding, and power outages that prevented voters from reaching polling stations.
OTOH, Lula's hand-picked lawyer who Lula appointed to Brazil's Supreme Court extended the voting time by 2 hours for the whole country AFTER the 5:00 pm deadline when the polls close and the results are locked, irreversibly so. Many polling stations had already closed. The TSE is the legal authority that handles election issues, FYI. Furthermore, extending the time to vote nationwide has NEVER happened before in Brazil's history. There is no rule(s) on the books to even do so. It was an easy way for Lula's cohorts to go in and manipulate the vote count when no one was around after the polls had already closed and the polling station employees had vacated the premises to ensure former convicted criminal Lula da Silva stays in power like a dictator always seems to do, ICYMI.
