Friends, please join me and the Capuchin friars in continued prayer for Shia LaBeouf. Shia was fully received into the Church through the sacrament of Confirmation on New Year’s Eve. “You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in you.” —St. Augustine of Hippo

Rather than turning our eyes away from the evil being wrought in Ukraine, rather than merely looking on with a sense of futility, let’s ask the intercession of the Saints of Ukraine (some of whom know the dangers of Russian aggression, having themselves fallen victim to it).

When you were born, you simply changed location and began to breathe air. When you were baptized, you became a child of God, your body became a temple of the Holy Spirit, and you were called to holiness.

Bishop Reicher is truly blessed to have an amazing Field Crew. The gold stars on the field represent the 13 soldiers killed in Afghanistan. Amazing. See you at tonight's game. @kwtx @KCENSports @CWillTV @kwtxsports @darbyjobrown @25SportsKXXV

Since COVID began @FrSzatkowski, myself & a team of priest have been visiting all those sick with Covid in the Dallas Diocese. We’ve been trained by hospital staff on safety, have all the proper PPE, &have been in hundreds of Covid rooms. This is disgraceful.

Consider withholding your take on the difficult subject of vaccine morality if it starts with “well, I’m no moral theologian and I don’t know much about vaccines, but...” People study this stuff for years. They read Aquinas. They learn the science. Let’s listen for a minute.

Today’s game did not end as we had hoped it would. We did not bring home the ship, but we are blessed to have had this football season. We are proud of this team and the coaches and all that they have accomplished. Our future is bright. #bishopreicherproud #growthegrowl
