Trump’s Nationwide Shabbat and the Choices Facing American Jews townhall.com/columnists/jere…
I genuinely want to understand this.
Maybe I’m wrong but it seems like Gruters has been MIA ever since he got the job
MAGA Warrior Joe Gruters, who has been with us from the very beginning, is running to continue as Chairman of the Republican National Committee. As Chairman, Joe turned the RNC into an efficient, focused, and powerful machine that will continue to empower the America First Agenda for many years to come.
As State Senator and Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida, Joe helped us deliver massive and historic Victories across the State, including my three BIG WINS in 2016, 2020, and 2024! Joe was the Chairman of Florida when I won that Great State by the Highest Vote Margin in History, as we then went on to win the 2024 Presidential Election. As Sarasota County Chairman, Joe named me Statesman of the Year in both 2012 and 2015 — The only person to ever win it two times!
Joe Gruters should return as Chairman of the RNC to continue to build our Party, and be a trusted partner as we MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and ensure Free and Fair Elections. Republicans everywhere should support him as he continues his mission at the RNC. Joe is 100% America First, the Grassroots LOVES him, and I know he will do an incredible job in 2028, and secure Great Success for Republicans all across our Country. Joe has my Complete and Total Endorsement — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN! President DONALD J. TRUMP

The last two weeks have been full of ups and downs.
I delivered my son. Then had a spinal leak. My son had a bris and then was admitted to the NICU with RSV and pneumonia that night and eventually intubated.
I’ve now been by his side in the hospital for four days. He’s still in the worst of it.
My family has felt so blessed by everyone’s prayers. Health is everything. Looking forward to the day where I can hold my baby again.

The effort to paint Ron DeSantis, who founded the freedom caucus and was the biggest pain in the ass for leadership in Congress, into some “establishment” guy is so lazy and dumb.
With all due respect, the number of times I spoke with Paul Ryan from my election as governor through the 2024 campaign: zero.
And Mitt Romney was attacking me back then because we beat Disney on gender ideology and he is a corporatist.
Try demonstrating a little more discernment next time someone is peddling bullsh— to you.

Ron DeSantis explains why the GOP "screaming socialism" doesn't work anymore:
"Young people have a very positive view of socialism compared to capitalism. The question is, why is that? Some of it is the education in our universities. But I think a big part of that is, what they're comparing is not free enterprise versus socialism. What they're comparing is how government gets involved in business, and you have crony capitalism. The best kind of indirect supporters of socialism are some of these corporatist republicans who propagate these crony policies. The average person is seeing that and saying, 'Wait a minute, you're trying to bend the government to funnel benefits to this corporation or that industry. What about having a competitive market? ... Young people really aren't seeing that. They're seeing just a handful of companies that have an outsized influence on our economy and on our society"
And this is also true. Nuance.
Replying to @BuckSexton
Agree. And those who think it was a bad idea should take a break from calling those of us who support it 'shills for Israel neocon warmongers getting paid to work for the Jews.'
Correct. @BuckSexton is one of us.
We can be nuanced and disagree without seeing everyone in bad faith.
There are plenty of bad people and we should not conflate the two.
Despite the noise on this app, it is indeed possible to be a friend and ally to the state of Israel, and the Israeli people, to have given strong support to Israel for their God-given right to respond to the Oct. 7 terrorist attack with all necessary military force-
and to simultaneously recognize that the Trump decision to hit Iran just got Republicans annihilated in the midterms and may deliver 2028 to the communists here at home. Concern about America's future, first and above others, is a natural instinct of every patriot.
The costs of Iran are being debated vigorously right now, which they should, along with the imminence of the nuclear threat and the handling of the aerial campaign. But it would be wrong- and politically unwise- for the staunchest allies of Israel in this country to insist anyone who recognizes the electoral price of the Iran war is no longer a friend of Israel, or even an anti-Semite. And this approach will only strengthen the position within the Right of those voices who act in bad faith and wish to undermine the Jewish state at every turn.
We will get through this. But we must all remember who our friends are, and not confuse them with enemies.
This is so evil.
Pray for justice for @arnoldroth’s family.
I believe this highly consequential revelation has never been published by any news outlet. Jordan’s obligation to hand the @Sbarro bomber, my child’s killer, over to the justice arms of the United States government is without a doubt an obligation Jordan bears.
And breaches.
Read this, @josh_hammer is a happy warrior and gives hope here.
I don’t think MAGA is dead though, it is however very bruised. Just like the Tea Party I don’t believe truly “died.” It adapted into MAGA. MAGA will please God adapt too.
In 2016, Trump launched a populist revolution. It’s had global repercussions.
This term has had huge successes. But the MAGA movement also forgot what “populism” is—and what it requires.
The good news is Trump can still save his presidency.

Without question @ChuckGrassley should resign ASAP to allow @KimReynoldsIA to appoint his successor before it's too late. And it's beyond self-centered if not immoral for him not to. Father Time will eventually come for Chuck, too.
This is 100% true. Out of the currently floated candidates he’s the best one IMO.
I know people have very passionate opinions about Ron DeSantis after his 2024 campaign... Which was a mistake, and was one of the worst campaigns I have seen in recent memory...
But we'd be foolish to exclude DeSantis from the 2028 conversation.
It's about results. And he has more than delivered in Florida.
DeSantis needs to be part of the conversation.
Out of the potential candidates being floated CURRENTLY, I believe he’s the best one.

Hopefully the whining about mean tweets and Orange Man Bad was worth it
We have a lot of work to do now, praying as well that these lunatics won’t be able to help themselves and massively overreach
I genuinely hope he will be more normal when he gets to DC.
