This image is really unfortunate. This was one of my 1st real finds but I didnβt see the βvalueβ in keeping such a thing, at the time.
I skipped it over the water like a flat rock after I took this picture, never to be seen again.

This is my modest little Trans Canada Airlines collection. TCA turned into Air Canada in the mid-60βs.
Yes, even the newspaper piece is a beach find.

Add a bit of brightness to your day. Forget about Politics.

Since weβre talking about IKEA celebrating 50 years in Richmond, BC.
Any guess on how old this vintage spoon is?
Itβs marked βMade in P. REP. Of CHINAβ so definitely, the Authoritarian Era, pre-1991.
Yup, found along the Fraser River Junkyardππ

Didnβt know Richmond was the first IKEA location in Canada. I knew the first McDonaldβs was on 3 Road. We have a history of attracting solid global brands! #richmondbc

Only a mystery to someone with straight or naturally curly hair.
Not the most valued type of beach find but here it is, beautiful in its own unique way.
This is an old rubber seal that wouldβve been attached to an old jar lid.
The metal lid rusted away and dissolved over the decades but the rubber has remained.

What is/was this?
Itβs marked βPacific National Exhibitionβ.
Itβs plastic and most likely pre-dates the 1970βs, considering where it was found.

Storms act as a massive dual-action pump that cycles plastic pollution between land and sea. This operates through two powerful vectors: stormwater runoff flushing microplastics out of storm drains, and storm surge dumping microplastics ashore. #WetTribe #TidetotheOcean
