The Tories are a cesspit of Islamophobia. Boris Johnson - who compared Muslim women to "bank robbers" and "letterboxes" - has reversed his pledge to hold an inquiry. But most of the media are silent, either because they think Islamophobia is no big deal, or they're Islamophobic.
This week a poll of Tory members found:
- 40% want limit on Muslims entering UK
- 43% don't want a Muslim PM
- 67% believe Sharia law rules parts of UK
- 45% think there are no-go areas for non-Muslims
Now Boris has dropped his pledge to hold an inquiry

The Trump administration argued court Tuesday that the government is not required to give soap or toothbrushes to children apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border and can have them sleep on concrete floors in frigid, overcrowded cells.

Reports suggest a car swerved into a crowd of Muslims outside the The Hussaini (Balaghiya) Association in Cricklewood, with 5 injured (3 seriously). Eye-witnesses apparently suggest perpetrators were heard shouting anti-Islamic sloguns.
