Real freedom comes from being able to get up and go where you please and not be someone’s lackey.
That freedom requires the help of other free people. Ask any person who is entirely self sufficient and doesn’t rely on anyone for anything.
They’re not free. Their life is constant work because humans are more free when we help others. Many hands make light work. You can’t be carpenter, welder, blacksmith, cobbler, accountant, janitor, farmer, chimney sweep, pest controller, baker, butcher, hunter, gatherer, and still have time to eat and shit.
We used to give food to strangers and travelers and take people in to hear their stories as payment. We used to, each of us, be both creditor and debtor. We made money out of nothing like the banks do today. We used to give out favors and receive favors as currency. We could drop everything and follow a dream and our neighbors would help look after our affairs while gone because then they could follow their dreams and be content too after we returned.
Freedom comes from being truly human. We can only be truly human when we don’t calculate credits and debits. There’s a story about a couple of hunters. One gets a big haul of meat. The other gets nothing. The successful hunter gives the unsuccessful hunter a bunch of his meat. He says “I don’t want to hear anybody say thank you. What I get today you might get tomorrow and I’d hope you’d help me. By gifts one makes slaves and by whips one makes dogs.”
He’s saying that by worrying about who gave what to who we become like slaves. When we try and force people to do what we want by force we make people into dogs. We give freely without a record of the gift because being human means not worrying about who gave what to who. You’re truly human when you give freely.
You can look at this another way. Ayn Rand would say “getting the most good for yourself is the best thing you can do”. By being generous without accounting you do get more in the long run. Sure anybody can work the system and rob entire communities of their wealth and resources. But that’s very short sided. Much better to have an entire community healthy and full of resources they can give freely to each other so it is stronger. A stronger group of people means you’re stronger by being apart of them than you’ll ever be even if you stole everything that makes them strong. You’ll never be able to do the work of the whole community even with all its resources.
So freedom only exists without money. Without artificial strife, in this world of plenty, is where we can be free. “Over and over I have set forth the qualities that we Wendat believe ought to define humanity – wisdom, reason, equity, etc. – and demonstrated that the existence of separate material interests knocks all these on the head. A man motivated by interest cannot be a man of reason” -Kandiaronk a truly free man

The elite media absolutely never talks about how the Mexican left utterly crushed the corrupt narco-establishment in Mexico and instituted a wildly popular democratic socialist government that’s still going strong after eight years because they wouldn’t want to give you any ideas

The bind of our system, and the thing people on the right will never admit, is money comes from the government. The market can’t exist without the government. The largest corporations use the government as a way to protect their greed.
JP Morgan gets most of its profits by late fees and penalties. GE earns a big majority of its profits from financing cars and not making them. Our entire economy is just a bunch of huge creditors pretending they’re producers.
Without the force of the government creditors rights to suck out as much money as they can, the economy would stall out. The entire thing rests on a class of landed gentry renting cars, houses, apartments, all media, and access to the very internet itself. We are a peasant mass again. We are in feudalism without all the pomp and circumstance of titled people.
Now you are a member of lordship class if you have enough money to legally corrupt the government. If you are greedy enough to snatch enough money for yourself from the people that do all the work, you can buy political power.
Why is populism so split?
No value judgements just the reality of the electorate.
You’re a working class person with a 6th grade reading level or less whose conditions have stayed the same or gotten worse for 40 years. (the majority of people in the country) Who are you going to vote for, Trump talking affordability and giving you someone to blame? Or would you vote for Kamala giving you nobody to blame while half assing the anti immigrant position and insisting everything stay the same?
They’re not going to research, they work 12-16hr shifts. They’re doing their part and they expect everyone else to be honest and do theirs. Many chose Trump, and sure that was the wrong choice but it’s on the billionaire funded Dems to win their vote. That’s the only reason they exist as a political party, to win elections through persuasion.
Fascism starts with fear of the powerless vulnerable people. That fear is possible when people’s conditions are getting worse. Working people’s conditions have been getting worse because our entire economy is based on endless favors for the rich and crumbs for workers. This all the while rich people buy up factories, load them with debt, giving themselves a huge payday, then shipping the jobs overseas.
Unfortunately the only stop to fascism is the Dem party who didn’t deliver concrete large scale improvements for working people. Mostly because the money has to come from the private tyrannical kings called billionaires the gov is corrupted by.
Let’s change the rules of this game. Go to your local government and talk with them about changing your corporate charter laws to prevent corporations from donating to politicians.

Chuck Todd: Schumer, Jeffries couldn’t win a primary in New York City right now thehill.com/homenews/campaig…
This is honestly incredible to see just laid out. The Supreme Court is absolutely damned for citizens united.
Calley Means tells Joe Rogan what he says happened when he tried to improve school lunches inside the Trump administration.
MEANS: “They were going to battle on school lunches.”
ROGAN: “And what were they saying?”
MEANS: “There was dozens of meetings and calls saying that taking junk food out of school lunches would hurt the companies…”
ROGAN: “That sell junk food...”
MEANS: “Yeah.”
This is your sign @SenateDems. Schumer is poison.

Chuck Schumer Faces Revolt Despite Blue Tsunami
“Many Democrats have called for new leadership in Congress and have indicated they would not vote for him.”

Are we really concerned about people doing nothing if we shorten the work week? Enough people learned to make sourdough during the pandemic shutdown that we ran out of flour. We’ll just be free to spend our time on things we want to do.
Cut to Jeffries and Schumer mugging the camera with dark money and wall street standing up and them kneeling in front “it’s a dirty job but someone has to do it”
Well if the front group identifies their best candidates we can be sure they’re at the top of our, no thanks list.
