When will tears stop. Thank you for those who prayed for our Bella. Fifteen years ago, we pulled you from a kill shelter and brought you home to heal our broken hearts. We changed your name from Shyla to Bella, and you truly became our beauty.
Your shyness was simply affection on your own terms — gentle, deliberate, and deeply meaningful. You gave us endless love and quiet companionship in the ways that mattered most: waking me softly in the mornings by curling on my chest, faithfully “directing” Dad’s photo editing with your watchful presence, and offering unexpected moments of warmth exactly when we needed them.
In your final months, we learned of the birth defect that had quietly become cancer near your heart. Even then, you carried on with grace. You gave us the kindest gift — fifteen years of unconditional love — and with the heaviest of hearts, we gave you the kindest gift in return: peace and rest.
Goodbye for now, my sweetest girl.
May you be chasing fluffy toys, rolling in the warmest sunbeams, and feeling whole and playful once more.
We will carry your love with us always.
Till we meet again.🙏❤️🙏

Every dog going to their death in shelters across America go to their deaths with their favorite stuffed animals in their mouth. Wagging their tail thinking they're going for a walk.
Every cat going to their death in shelters across America go to their deaths purring, giving head boops to their executioner, thinking they're going to get a treat.

I am sending this post to let everyone know that in order to speed up posting of pledge call posts, Kayleigh, @adamspaulgrimke, pledge tracker extraordinaire, will be sending out pledge call posts for cats as well as myself. Please check to be sure all pledge call posts are either from my EXACT handle or Kayleigh’s EXACT handle – too many damn scammers out there.

‼️ ATTENTION California cat advocates: We must act fast to stop a feeding ban targeting community cats in Ripon, CA ‼️
The Ripon City Council is scheduled to vote on the ban on Tuesday, November 10, at 6:00 p.m. PST.
If you live in California, please take just a minute to tell the Ripon mayor and council to vote NO: actnow.alleycat.org/page/104…
Not in California? Please SHARE this action with everyone you know in the state.
Ordinance 941 would criminalize the feeding of any community cat in the city without permission from animal control. Alley Cat Allies has been fighting to protect the cats and caregivers of Ripon, but we need your voice with ours.

🇺🇸 Dozens of cats and kittens have been found dead or dying since July 2026 on a property in Kula, Maui, Hawaii, raising serious concerns about possible poisoning.
Resident Karenann Deaner reported discovering the animals around her nursery. She says she has buried approximately 20 cats and rescued six over the past four months.
Veterinary toxicology testing on one kitten detected ethylene glycol, a highly toxic chemical found in some automotive antifreeze products.
Deaner suspects someone may be deliberately poisoning the cats, but the source of the chemical and the circumstances of the deaths remain unconfirmed.
The Maui Humane Society investigated the reports but closed its investigation because of insufficient evidence.
No suspect has been identified, and intentional poisoning has not been established.

Irish Ferries, end this cruelty. These are babies, they deserve better.
Irish Ferries Is Still Transporting Unweaned Calves in 2026.🚢💔
It is heartless to transport unweaned calves on such unnecessary long journeys. Going so long without food is not only cruel, but unlawful.
📢 Tag @irishferries and demand an end to this cruelty.✊🐄

This poor girl was brutally beaten by a man. 💔
When people started reacting, the man ran away. We’ve reported the incident to the police.
She’s badly injured and urgently needs medical care. 🥺
Even $5 or $10 can help.
She deserves justice and a chance to heal. 🙏🏻🤍 🐾
