GOOD DAY, MR PRESIDENT: NIGERIANS DESERVE ACCOUNTABILITY
Good day, Mr President.
I congratulate you on spending a night in one of Nigeria’s states outside Lagos and Abuja. I hope you enjoyed the warmth, hospitality, and delicious cuisine of Akwa Ibom, which I am sure is even better than those of the destinations where you have spent over 260 days outside Nigeria since coming into office.
I sincerely hope this visit will inspire you to travel to the remaining 33 states of the federation, spend time with the people and, more importantly, explain what your administration has done with the ₦15.8 trillion saved from the removal of fuel subsidy, the over $100 billion you have borrowed, the increased revenues accruing to the government from taxing Nigerians, and the additional government revenues which your administration celebrated last year as having surpassed its target.
Nigerians deserve to know how many that were pulled out of poverty within this period, how many out-of-school children were returned to school, and how many functional primary healthcare centres you have built. They also deserve to know how much electricity supply has improved, especially given your promise that if you do not fix power, Nigerians should not vote for you. They deserve an explanation of how you have secured the country, which still ranks among the most terrorised countries in the world.
Mr President, Nigerians deserve answers. They deserve to know what has been done with the resources entrusted to your government.
The New Nigeria we want to build will be based on accountability, transparency, and the physical, measurable impact of our public resources on the lives of citizens.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

PUBLIC BRIEFING NOTE
TO: The General Public, Legal Community, and Media
FROM: Chambers of Christopher Chidera, Esq.
DATE: November 2, 2026
SUBJECT: Public Briefing Note: The Pro Se Legal Trap, Judicial Blindness, and the Constitutional Nullity of Justice Omotosho’s Conviction in FRN v. Nnamdi Kanu
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: WHEN A JUDGE WALKS INTO A LEGAL TRAP
When Mazi Nnamdi Kanu stood in open court, looked Justice James Omotosho in the eye, and declared that the judge did not know the law, the courtroom erupted in shock over the breach of formal judicial etiquette. While his delivery was unconventional and far from standard courtroom decorum, Kanu was legally correct.
Confined to a Department of State Services (DSS) facility, Kanu spent his time meticulously analyzing the statute books. Recognizing that the trial court was determined to secure a conviction at all costs, he debriefed his legal team, took control of his defense pro se, and systematically laid a fatal legal trap for the bench.
By formally demanding the transition of his trial from the repealed Terrorism Prevention (Amendment) Act 2013 (TPAA) to the extant Terrorism Prevention and Prohibition Act 2022 (TPPA)—as mandated by the compulsory transition commands in Sections 97 and 98(2) of the 2022 Act—Kanu set an unassailable bottleneck. Justice Omotosho, entirely blinded by rage and a personal determination to convict by any means necessary, walked straight into it. The resulting judgment of November 20, 2025, is a masterclass in legal self-destruction, dead on law alone.
1. THE BLINDING RAGE OF THE BENCH: HOW PERSONAL ANIMUS CREATED A FATAL FLAW
When a judge abandons cool-headed detachment and allows personal animus to dictate the outcome of a trial, the result is rarely just a flawed decision—it is a total collapse of judicial craft.
Justice James Omotosho did not merely make a routine error in legal interpretation; he walked straight into Kanu’s calculated trap because he was entirely blinded by a pre-determined agenda. In his rush to punish Nnamdi Kanu, Omotosho threw away judicial caution, ignored basic canons of statutory construction, and left behind a judgment so fundamentally broken that it cannot survive appellate scrutiny.
The Anatomy of Judicial Blindness:
A balanced jurist faced with a high-stakes terrorism trial relies on statutory text, Supreme Court precedent, and procedural caution. When Kanu challenged the court’s command of the law, it struck a raw nerve:
The Refusal to Read: Rather than engaging with the clear text of Sections 97 and 98(2) of the TPPA 2022, the judge dismissed them out of hand. Rage makes a judge lazy; when a court is fixated on securing a conviction, reading mandatory transition provisions feels like an unnecessary hurdle.
Overriding Superior Authority: By failing to transition the charge from the repealed 2013 Act to the extant 2022 Act, Omotosho actively defied the binding principles laid down by the Supreme Court regarding jurisdiction and valid subsisting laws. He acted as though his personal desire to deliver a conviction superseded the hierarchy of Nigerian courts.
2. THE STRATEGY: HOW KANU LAID THE TRAP PRO SE
Kanu realized early that a routine defense would not stop a court determined to reach a predetermined outcome. He took his representation into his own hands, studying the law from his cell to construct a clear legal trap.
He understood that:
Under Section 36(12) of the 1999 Constitution, no citizen can be convicted of an offense unless it is defined and its penalty prescribed in a written, subsisting law.
While Section 98(3) acted merely as a savings clause to keep the case file alive, Sections 97 and 98(2) placed a mandatory duty ("shall") on the court to transition proceedings to the 2022 Act.

STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE
PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES SENATOR RABIU KWANKWASO AT 70
My warm congratulations to my friend Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, former Governor of Kano State, one-time Minister of Defence and former Senator representing Kano Central Senatorial District, on his 70th birthday on October 21, 2026.
Senator Kwankwaso and I have had a longstanding association, dating back to our time in the National Assembly in 1992, he in the House of Representatives and I in the Senate, and later in 1999 when we both emerged as governors of our respective states.
As members of the Class of '99 Governors, we both played pivotal roles in laying the foundation for the democracy the nation enjoys today.
Shaped by different political choices, our political paths differed until we coalesced in 2013 to form the All Progressives Congress. Since then, history and service have kept us intertwined.
I must acknowledge Senator Kwankwaso's immense contributions to Kano State and Nigeria as a two-term Governor, former Minister of Defence, former Senator, former presidential candidate, and now a presidential running mate.
Senator Kwankwaso remains an influential figure and a progressive politician.
That we are in different political parties and competing on different platforms in the January 2027 election will not remove my affection for Senator Kwankwaso.
As the former governor marks this milestone, I wish him good health, personal fulfilment, and many more years of engagement in the nation's democratic process.

It's very unfortunate that Nigeria president is celebrating UN Budget, the budget that he never went through, million's of Nigerian's are living in abject poverty and you mugus are celebrating UN Budget.
Mad people everywhere.
Congratulations to President Bola Tinubu!
Another historic achievement under Renewed Hope(lessness)! For the first time in 66 years, a Nigerian President has reportedly received seven volumes of the proposed United Nations budget.
Seven volumes! What a monumental achievement!
But Nigerians have a few questions.
Which volume will reduce the price of bread, rice, beans, yam, tomatoes and pepper?
Which volume will reduce the price of petrol and diesel, lower transport fares and put money in Nigerians' pockets?
Or are Nigerians expected to photocopy the UN budget and present it to market women as legal tender?
While Tinubu celebrates seven volumes of the UN budget, Nigerians are battling their own seven volumes of economic hardship:
Volume 1: Expensive Bread and Rice.
Volume 2: Expensive Beans and Yam.
Volume 3: Expensive Tomatoes and Pepper.
Volume 4: Expensive Petrol and Diesel.
Volume 5: Expensive Transportation.
Volume 6: Vanishing Purchasing Power.
Volume 7: Empty Pockets!
Mr President, Nigerians cannot eat diplomatic ceremonies, cook presidential photographs or fuel their vehicles with international documents!
Congratulations on receiving the UN budget. But Nigerians elected you to manage Nigeria's economy, not to celebrate receiving the world's budget!
Nigerians ordered Renewed Hope. Professor Tinubu delivered seven volumes of further mathematics in suffering!
After all, seven volumes of the UN budget cannot fill one empty stomach.
Nigerians need less ceremony, more food on the table!
