i miss exploring in Pokemon games.. roaming around in the wilderness without a convenient map marker to tell me where the next plot event is, or talking to every single NPC I meet, because they just might hand me a rare item or TM, or even have a sidequest for me.

Caterpie had an underrated Arc in the Pokemon Anime, it was the first Pokemon Ash caught, Misty rejected it at first and it had the first real Pokemon discussion on screen with Pikachu about its goals and aspirations.. it took down team rocket by itself and evolved all in the same episode, later it protects them from an attacking Beedrill and evolves again.. later it beats team rocket again and saves all the Butterfree, finds a mate and leaves to start a family.
