I've always been curious about how this could be simulated in 3d games. Cause outrunning the camera there could sometimes feel annoying. Best good example I can think of is generations drifting in certain stages
i could be wrong but im pretty sure the writer of this crossover has no prior experience writing for sonic-
hmmm. Sasuke even before massacre was mostly self taught, itachi and fugaku were busy most of the time. Naruto didnt start making leaps and bounds in progress until he got jiraiya. With Parents, Naruto could honestly get something similar

It's funny how this singular post actually really sums up how off-putting IDW has been in scaling these characters.
Like yes, it is this way now. Cause IDW has given everyone that isn't sonic or shadow a nerf compared to sonic.
So uh.
Sakura could still do stuff before she had Tsunades training-.
This characters style oriented around guerilla warfare and knowledge checking her opponents in the movies-. Don't make her feel useful by removing her arc. Make her feel useful by enhancing what she had.
I see people are already freaking out about the Naruto thing, so let me calm you down.
1. Destin Daniel Cretton is a GREAT director. The movie is in good hands.
2. Sasuke's crush on Sakura is subtle. He's still all about revenge. Sakura's crush on him is also subtle; she's not crazy in love with him like she was originally.
3. The Jinchuriki thing is kind of in the manga too. Yes, technically anyone can be a Jinchuriki in the manga, but it still mostly goes through generations. So here, they just streamlined it and also did it to make it make more sense why his parents had no choice but to seal the Fox inside him.
4. The changes to Sakura are meant to make her stronger and more prominent. If she didn't have her post-Tsunade powers, she'd be useless. Her father being dead gives her a backstory, and her conflict with her mother gives her a home life that she didn't have in the original.
5. Naruto is a history nerd, but he's still not good at school. He's not a genius nerd.
6. It IS faithful, with a lot of scenes recreated almost shot-for-shot from the first arc of the manga. The changes are mostly character-related, and they don't affect the story as much as you might think.
I think a part of it is also a lot of protagonists started doing talk no jutsu after Naruto. But They don't exactly do it in a way that hits you the way Naruto does

• Jinchuriki is something determined by bloodline. only certain people can have a beast sealed inside them.

This is a character who backstory wise confirms she was with two sleezebags who "harassed" her until orochimaru came and bought her out. And has grown to treat getting bit as not just a romantic thing but a sexual thing too.
She was 100% SA'd.
I mean to be fair. Silvers powers are practical as hell?

More than a week since I started working on this Sonic level and we're in the final stretch, just gotta finish Knuckles's route as well as the underwater section
