If you’re a freelancer or a small agency with a group of care plan clients, growing revenue usually means one of two things: raise your prices or find new clients. Raising prices risks losing the clients you have, and finding new ones takes time you probably don’t have. There’s a third option: look at it over a year. A $100 a month care plan is $1,200 a year. Getting each client to spend an extra $1,200 over a year doesn’t have to be one big new subscription. It can be a small monthly add-on, a one-off project, and a yearly review, spread across the year. I really like that way of thinking, because it’s how I’ve been looking at @ToggleWP. Most of what it does saves you time. Some of it creates things your clients will happily pay for, as long as you price it honestly and know what it costs you. This post walks through those costs, the setup time nobody mentions, and which services fit a monthly plan versus a one-off or annual job. togglewp.com/growing-care-pl…

ToggleWP and @website_toolkit were built to work side by side - it is part of the reason V2.0 took a few extra months to be built, as Website Toolkit became a fully featured SaaS. When the content health check results are returned you can access them via your dashboard.

Your client just published a new landing page for an online event - one they'll soon point an Adwords campaign at. As you set up ToggleWP for them (as part of your monthly care plan) the page was checked for a range of technical issues within a couple of minutes of them clicking publish. They received an email which flagged up the typical broken email address (missing its mailto:) when their marketing junior created the page. They also received an AI content review, which broke down the sections of the page and provided some issues and suggestions to investigate. This content review highlighted some of the content wasn't as clear as it could be, so minor edits were made. Their campaign was a success. The client was very happy with your value-added oversight that saved a potential ruined campaign. For an extra $$ a month, they saved their marketing ROI by a lot more. ----- Add ToggleWP to your sites and sell additional services, which you keep the markup for.
The automated AI content review needed a few tweaks but should be fully working in the v2.0.1 release. The Cloud policies now include a setting to automate it, along with the supported post types. Email template had some adjustments to break up the issues / suggestions.

14-day free trial with 14-day money back, or a straight up 30-day money back guarantee? If you have paid up front, you've skin in the game to get it set up promptly and make the most of it. I feel a free trial lets you do it at your own pace before the first a payment is taken. It's similar to hosting providers offering the first month for $1. They know it takes time to get sites moved over without you paying out twice.
Rolling out a new plugin to your client sites is a big decision. That’s why ToggleWP comes with a free 14-day trial. It gives you time to set things up on a practice site, at your own pace, before you roll it out across more of your sites. togglewp.com/start-with-one-…

If you run an agency you'll always be on the lookout for ways to grow additional revenue. With the new Client report you could offer a free quarterly health check. Include a quote with it to fix the issues on their behalf. Basic white labelling is included in all plans (while keeping the main domain name).
Coming next week - Client reports. Run an audit of your clients site to see what needs fixing, select details to include then generate a report. After completing the work* you can re-audit and provide a work-completed report. *Demo data shown, so nothing much had changed

As you may well be aware I have a habit of overthinking things. For Website Toolkit I need to sort out payments, which could be one off per domain (90 days use), monthly (2 tiers) as well as the upcoming £££ LTD bundle. I would also like to make use of Coupon Affiliates for WooCom (already own it) to add service credit. That might need a subscriptions plugin that's a bit costly. Would freelancers / agencies ever buy a bulk set of months in one go (3+ months min, thus no automatic subscription) and then top up when it's about to run out, or is that too much hassle?

Soft launched a little later than planned due to PHP and NodeJS fun over the last couple of days. Tomorrow I'm going to start following my own launch checklist to give that module a fresh pair of eyes for workflow improvements.
My refreshed website has soft launched. Check out the new interactive demo (1hr sandbox). I'll be running WT over it tomorrow as a mock launch, ready to mop up any VS Code links and staging site links that didn't swap over. website-toolkit.co.uk/

The dog fooding continues. ToggleWP now integrates with MailerPress, which I'll be using on the refreshed Website Toolkit site.
I'm working my way towards the big ToggleWP v2.0. This weeks beta (1.9.14) will be gaining MailerPress Pro integration via webhooks. This works nicely with ToggleWP's existing Newsletter Subscriber module.

Just in case anyone missed it yesterday with all the PHP panic, NodeJS had a security update as well.

I won't say that a client put a 30 second 4K video on their home page, but there would be signs.

This isn't a 0% AI or 100% suituation - go with the flow you are comfortable with. Your client might feedback on something, which isn't quite right to blindly follow, but you know what they meant. Add an internal note and that'll be included in your AI agent brief. Keep yourself in the loop to sanity check the request, while handing over the quick fixes you know your agent can handle.
Website Toolkit is being built with both you and your favourite AI agent in mind. When a human provides feedback (via the widget) you can now copy out an AI agent brief for it to work from. Handy for those testing an AI agent workflow while keeping a human in the loop.

ToggleWP will be gaining a kill switch so it can ignore settings from my upcoming ToggleWP Cloud service. It'll also ask for manual per site confirmation to prevent any (ToggleWP related) security related settings from being downgraded once set. Client sites only pull information from the Cloud server, which has no access to the sites themselves, but I'd rather bake in extra measures for peace of mind.
ToggleWP only pulls information from my upcoming Cloud service, it never has access to your sites themselves. However, in light of recent news, I'm adding some additional measures just in case, because your sites shouldn't have to trust me blindly. togglewp.com/your-sites-shou…

I've had been a busy week with Website Toolkit. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback + ideas for additional checks. Next week is partly school holidays - I'll be focusing on updating the website while following my own Launch checklist. See the thread for this week's highlights.
Website Toolkit isn't a "build it and move on" project. It is having gradual improvements each week and is a key part of my product offering. Recent suggestions to break out SEO / AI score to a new chart, and home page screen shots are now live.

It's easy to duplicate a section, change its header and get distracted before updating its contents. As well as checking for potentially repeating headings in a page, Website Toolkit will also attempt to monitor for duplicate content within the same page.

Website Toolkits monitored domains is great for freelancers / agencies who offer web hosting. You can easily include an entry level report with your basic hosting plan. While additional checks and included "fix it time" add extra value to your premium plans.
