The PM’s dilemma. Keeps Cummings: loses the trust of the nation. Sacks Cummings: Johnson goes back to what he always was, a furtive bag of nerve endings and purposeless muscles piled inside an ill-fitting politician costume.

My husband and I had covid in March. We have 3 young children, 2 are disabled. We had no support at all. Our relatives are 65miles away, but we followed the guidance to the letter. To hear a couple with one child excused of travelling 250+ miles to see family is utterly enraging

Fun fact! If you say Get Brexit Done in the mirror three times Boris Johnson turns up at your house, closes your local firestation, cuts the police budget in the constituency, cuts nursing staff to your local hospital, insults you and your family and tells you to stop moaning.

27 years ago, this guy promised me a life full of adventure. I’d say he’s delivered. Here’s to our next chapter of becoming empty nesters and discovering what’s next—while still feeling the magic that brought us together all those years ago. Happy anniversary, Barack.

In a week when the country is in crisis lots of odd right wingers are upset that I don't have a printer at home (based on a bullshit story that I said I couldn't afford one, which I didn't I obviously could) so are having new printers sent to my office as if it's a cuss.

This is how a true public servant reacts to a man whose only priority is his own ambition playing games with the lives of her constituents.
Jess Phillips, you have truly inspired me today. A very rare thing given today's parliamentary politics.

One of the finest journalists in Britain is being taken to court for sticking up for our democracy and daring to hold murky, unchecked power to account.
