Here's a useful link containing all of the tweets from the #Ubuntu / #Lubuntu user community here on Twitter, which I've tagged as #UsefulLinks during this #BionicBeaver #ReleaseParty #InstallFest.

For my next trick, I'm trying to configure #GnuPG v2.1 on my new #TrisquelGNU v8 machine, following the @GitHub instructions...
help.github.com/articles/gen…
This isn't working for me at all. Can anyone help or offer advice please?

First machine from my #Ubuntu #Lubuntu #BionicBeaver #ReleaseParty #InstallFest has been delivered as complete, but it has @TrisquelGNU #TrisquelGNU on it instead! 😆
I'm off to talk to the owner of one of the other machines tomorrow, and maybe talk him into Trisquel as well! 👌
Looks like I haven't quite worked out the networking in #qemu, #kvm & #virt_manager yet either. My #TrisquelGNU Mini guest has no Internet connection yet. I'll keep plugging on and learning with it though. Any suggestions or advice would be welcome.
#InstallFest
Yay, the networking is working in the guest OS now! I had to change the bridge from "br0" to "virbr0" to make it work. Downloading updates in the guest OS now, then I'll get the bi-di clipboard working in it.

While hoping for a reply on the video, next problem with the @Lenovo #LenovoThinkPadT420 on #TrisquelGNU #GNULinux is #WLAN driver. I have #Intel 6205, as per h-node, but it's not working yet. Any suggestions? Are there drivers on h-node?

Before I go trying to fix something that isn't actually broken, can someone tell me please, the @Lenovo #LenovoThinkPadT420 video is currently 1366x768, is that the best it will do? Changing the #videodriver won't help? I'm using #TrisquelGNU v8.0 #Flidas #GNULinux i915 driver.
The limitation, from what I see on the @Lenovo website, seems to be the internal display itself, not the graphics chipset.

External display can handle up to 2560x1600, but nothing better than 1366 x 768 on the internal display?

On the eve of the latest @lubuntudesktop release, I'm wondering about the lubuntu.net lubuntu.me #DMCA controversy with @fossasia and @lubuntuofficial. Even Wikipedia doesn't seem to know what's going on! I've been using lubuntu.net for years.
I didn't get the "first subject" honoursᵃ, but maybe @leslielauralive will look at this question still anyway. I've seen other little digs between the two #Lubuntu website factions since I started this thread, and more users confused. #DevRel

For myself, I'm now using #TrisquelGNU rather than #Lubuntu anyway, so it doesn't really matter to me personally, but I am keen to know what gives with the lubuntu.me vs lubuntu.net debate, with #DMCA threats being thrown around between #FOSS players.
Just returned from a friend's place, who is getting the #CompaqPresarioC700 from my #InstallFest. Convinced him to change to #TrisquelGNU as well. I'm his local #Linux guru, so it makes sense to follow my lead. We all need someone to learn from. @MakerJakes taught me heaps! Thx!
Working on my @Lenovo #LenovoThinkPadT420 today, got problems with video & wlan in #TrisquelGNU v8. Video card is listed in h-node as compatible with #Trisquel v7. h-node.org/videocards/view/e… How to install drivers?

Well, I stayed up all night again for my #ReleaseParty #InstallFest. Almost have wifey's #Linux laptop ready to return to her for use, all installed & configured with @TrisquelGNU #TrisquelGNU, @KeePass, web browser, and her data restored to it. I'm off to sleep now, laterz all.

I now have the latest @LibreOffice #LibreOffice v6.0.3 installed on my wife's @TrisquelGNU #TrisquelGNU machine. Had to install it manually. A shame it's not in the Trisquel repos yet.
