ALL WALLS MUST FALL: Inside The Lochiel Autonomous Zone What began as an environmental protest on the Arizona border became a project for a network of self-described “aspiring revolutionaries.” After contractors cut down three cottonwood trees, anarchists and activists flooded into the zone. They published a plan to stop the wall, raised nearly $75,000, and called on people across the country to move to Lochiel with “open-ended plans.” By day 71, the Lochiel Autonomous Zone had a manned checkpoint at the gate, a mutual aid supply network, a legal defense fund, occupied multiple buildings, dozens of tents, more than 50 vehicles and roughly 100 people. @TaylerUSA received an anonymous tip that Border Patrol was moving in to clear the encampment so construction on the double-layer wall could resume. Watch as the Frontlines TPUSA team arrives just in time to document the raid—only for the story to turn on them. Activists close in, assault Frontlines manager @BrandonDrey, destroy property, slash vehicle tires, and threaten the crew again and again, until the reporters are not only covering the chaos, they are trapped inside it. @TaylerUSA | @BrandonDrey | @kiansimone44 | @TPUSA

NEW YORK CITY: Darializa Avila Chevalier, the Democratic Socialist who recently won her Congressional primary in NYC, refuses to respond to whether or not she “likes America.” Reporter @Savsays asked the candidate if she wanted to retract any of her past anti-American statements now that she’s running to become an elected official in the U.S. Not only did Chevalier decline to respond, but other members of the DSA made sure to protect her from any challenging questions. This past Saturday, Chevalier attended an anti-ICE protest in Washington Heights, where she called to abolish ICE and spoke in support of Oscar Belgal, the Dominican illegal immigrant who was recently shot by ICE. @TPAction

HAPPENING NOW: No Kings protests in Seattle are much smaller this time around. But one thing remains the same. The vast majority of participants are baby boomers and white. @choeshow is on the ground right now trying to figure out why this movement lacks so much diversity and interest from younger people. @TPUSA

At the "No Kings" march in Los Angeles, indigenous marchers are called to the front. Before making the announcement, a speaker tells an activist in the back to "shut the hell up," then says: "If you're at a no kings march and indigenous folks and self-defense communities are not at the front, then it's a false start." The march was temporarily halted in place so indigenous marchers could catch up from the back. @TaylerUSA | @TPUSA
