Without making any trades but with a fully healthy group of forwards, this is what I'd like to see for the Sens:
Cozens-Stützle-Batherson
Eklund-Pinto-Tomasino
Giroux-Greig-Amadio
Zetterlund-Halliday-Foegele
Cousins, Hodgson
Dylan Cozens had a slow start but now has 4g, 7pts in his last 8 games. Meanwhile, Josh Norris has 2g, 3pts on the season and is pointless in his last 6 games. He has 4 years left on his deal, including this year, at $7.1M AAV, which is nothing in the new cap era. What a steal
I was not a believer but Big Sam Ersson appears to have come around:
Ersson 2-3-1 (8gp, 5s), .880, 3.33
Merilainen 2-5-1 (11gp, 9s), .897, 3.31
Looks like the Sens have a backup goalie
All time greatest German athletes according to Adnan Virk: Katarina Witt, Dirk Nowitzki, and Tim Stützle
Here's the still image of the Sens city remix jersey. Overall, I like it a lot, but I think the bright red collar is an odd feature since gold is the main secondary color. Still need to see some stills of the detail work
Sens hometown remix kits end up much cleaner than the supposed leaks. More gold, toned down colors, additional details, all make for a nice change of pace. Maybe not an all time Sens classic, but definitely a solid W
Do other teams ever play the same goalie on a back-to-back? Is it only the Sens that seem to be allergic to this idea? Ersson played really well against SJ, he hasn't been overworked, he's young, and Ullmark should be back soon. Why not go with again last night?
