Gearing up for @TheGuluMarathon .
We have crafted a Cycling Tour itinerary Dubbed 'Echoes of The Rift' which will see a team of 30cyclists+ endure a 550km+ journey from kampala -Hoima via the Albertine Rift region, cross Lake Albert and ride by the Gipir & Labong site to Ajai game reserve and cycle to the Rhino camp and the Cruise on the River Nile to @Arrafishinglodge and after head to Gulu in time for the Gulu City
Marathon..
You should not miss the unveiling happening on Thursday 5th Nov at LUGOGO National Council of Sports. Arrival time is 3pm..

We are on our way to Gulu with the Marathon Race Director, Gavin Wright, from @WorldAthletics to re-measure the race routes, ensuring they meet international standards for this internationally certified marathon.
The management flew him directly from South Africa 🇿🇦 specifically to ensure that everything is in place ahead of race day on 5th December 2026, including internationally standardised routes in Gulu City.
Alongside the team, we have also been working with the medical teams, as medical support is one of the key requirements for hosting a successful international marathon.
