At a presser today, Supt Snelling said that the traffic stop narrative concerning Dexter Reed is premature, but the Tactical Reports signed by the involved CPD officers say it was a traffic stop. He told the press to ask deeper questions. So...are the police lying?

My Chicago landlord raised my rent $655 this summer - nearly 25%, outpacing inflation by nearly 6 times. Rents go up whenever a building is sold now. Fearmongering and wealth hoarding is all this is.
If @ChicagosMayor 's transfer tax increase goes through, rents will go up as much as $100 per unit after a building is sold, landlord group's report says.
