I love how these losers never consider the possibility that some of us are just making games for the joy of creating. It’s not a waste of my time, it’s literally what I do for fun.
If you make games without AI, you're wasting your time. Here's how I build Ladder Knight. I leave a note right on the map and keep working. A minute later, the change is in the game. From small things like basic decor or a slightly higher jump, to entirely new mechanics like a block that moves on any path and connects to any buttons. Each one is just a note. I test it right in the editor. The editor is made completely by AI too. Even this video was made with a feature AI added, because I didn't want to waste time cropping it. Years ago I spent more time making editors than making games (I worked on mobile games in 2020). Now the tools grow with the game. If you ever dreamed of making your own game, there was never a better time to start.

Super Mario Bros. (NES) has been RECOMPILED by reddit users HairyCuca and ThomasTurbing using Claude! You can now play the classic hit natively on your PC. This is great news for the future of gaming.

Boy am I judging.. This looks rough. This looks like one of those mobile games I get an ad for on Instagram in between doom scrolling with an OBVIOUS AI animated narrative and shitty AI voice acting. Now I'm not one to knock some minor uses here and there but brother, you're lying when you say it's only 30%. You're boasting that it took you three months. I can definitely see that. Maybe don't create games with AI if you're going to complain about Steam's rules regarding AI. You can cope and seethe about it all you want.

30% AI. 70% me. 100% ignored. This is my game, Solitaire: Kingdom in Chains. It took me 3 months to build. Not 6 hours and a magic prompt. I worked with Photoshop, Cubase, Filmora, Claude Code, and Codex. I designed, edited, tested, fixed, rebuilt, and polished until I had something I was proud to release. But apparently, none of that matters anymore. Because the moment Steam puts that little AI disclosure on your game, some people have already decided it's garbage without even looking at it. Three months of work? Irrelevant. The actual gameplay? Irrelevant. Whether the game is good or bad? Also irrelevant. AI was involved. Case closed. I'm not asking anyone to buy my game out of sympathy. Hell, I'm not even asking you to like it. I'm asking you to judge the damn game, not the tools used to make it. Because if using AI means your work automatically has no value, then we've stopped judging creativity and started policing toolboxes. Here's the gameplay. Judge it for yourself. store.steampowered.com/app/5…

Eh, I know a guy...
I’ve always wanted a game that feels like a playable version of old CGI renders from the 90s

I know I’ve been sharing a lot about this particular level, but I think this might finally be it for the visuals! I’ve added a lot more detail, including foliage, lighting, and blur effects, with some bug fixes. Now I just need to work on the boss fight for the ending. :) #Indie
