Kirk Herbstreit (terrorist) said on Gameday: “Who has Miami even played?”
Meanwhile, we are propping up SEC resumes for wins over 3 loss teams in the first week of November.

Most favored by the simulated BCS:
Notre Dame (+5 spots)
UCLA, USC (+3 spots)
Most favored by the @CFBPlayoff committee:
Alabama (+4 spots)
Texas, Tennessee, South Carolina (+3 spots)
This revolving door of SEC teams ranked between 20-25 is going to beef up some of these SEC resumes so hard.
Wake needs to be HUGE Louisville fans going forward. We are kind of screwed with Duke playing Miami late and SMU playing ND - probably will prevent them from being T25.

Wins vs. top-25 is hardly a relevant measure anymore. There’s less disparity than ever between teams 1-50. The top-25 is the most volatile it’s ever been in the sport, so judging a team by placing most value on current top 25 wins will lead to wild inconsistencies week to week.
Beat Stanford by 54.
Beat Virginia by 44.
Beat Cal by 34 on the road.
Beat NC State by 24 on the road.
Beat Louisville (on the road) by the same margin that Ole Miss did.
But, they lost one singular game to the best team in College Football so they get shoved down to #16 and treated like crap, while 2-loss SEC teams get gifted spots in the Top 5.
Unbelievable.
I’m glad the committee is getting shredded for this load of shit they put out tonight. It’s horrific on so many levels.

With all due respect, & it’s clear the committee has none for @WakeFB, Deacs at 16 is a joke. I present these numbers again:
Record: 7-1 (L to No. 1 Miami)
SOR: 11 (ahead of LSU, ND, BYU)
FPI: 11 (ahead of BYU, UK, UCLA)
GC: 11 (ahead of IU, UK, BYU, UCLA)
Overall efficiency: 11

Meanwhile, the committee is FAR lower than this computer avg on Notre Dame, Ohio State (context there, obv), Wake Forest and, naturally, the G6. Wouldn't be the CFP committee if they didn't dump on G6 teams for choosing to have light schedules and not join power conferences.

Talked about my 80% résumé (SOR, Résumé SP+), 20% quality (SP+, FPI) computer rankings mix in the Sunday column. The CFP committee is FAR more skewed toward the SEC than the computers. 2.6 spots per team, on average. Good lord.

The committee fervently just said if you don’t play in the SEC you can go shove it
