Our @GoogleQuantumAI team has demonstrated "magic state cultivation" on physical hardware for the first time. The result is a 40x error reduction on our Willow processor vs. previous methods, achieving a state-of-the-art 99.99% logical fidelity.

Everyone is focused on William Herkelrath becoming CEO of @AlgoFoundation as they should be…
But.. the quieter addition may actually be just as interesting. @alexanderfowler CSO at Nexus, is also joining the Algorand Foundation board.
I dug into Nexus a little and theyre building around verifiable computation, ZK tech and AI. If Algorand is positioning itself for the next wave of AI + finance + autonomous agents (which they already have positioned!) this starts looking VERY interesting.
PQ, Agentic Payments, and a Core DeFi layer/ecosystem. The product trifecta.
