Gilmer served as the co-Executive Director of the @Dreamdefenders. Dream Defenders explicitly describe themselves as police abolitionists who aim to eliminate traditional policing, private prisons, and the criminal punishment system. Dream Defenders has also been accused of glorifying cop killers.
Yesterday, Nixon was interviewed on CNN with @ChrisMurphyCT. She lied and said people were “falsely accusing” her of trying to abolish prisons and defund the police. She said she doesn’t know why people are saying those things about her.
This is why. Angie hired a political director to manage her US Senate campaign who led an anti-police organization that wants to abolish all prisons and release every violent criminal back onto the streets of America.
As a US Senator, Angie Nixon would work to abolish the police, close all prisons, and flood the streets of Florida with dangerous criminals, murderers, sexual predators, rapists, pedophiles, animal abusers, gang members, and terrorists who belong locked up in prison.
Angie Nixon is way too extreme for Florida.

Pakistani Muslim Azzm Khan was arrested after police say he tried to burn down the Young Israel of West Hempstead synagogue by lighting a lawn sign and shoving it under the door.

Nassau County officers responding to a broken police auxiliary vehicle mirror near Hall’s Pond Park on the night of October twenty first found the twenty nine year old Lakeview resident beside a bush he had set on fire outside the synagogue at six thirty Hempstead Avenue.

Investigators determined he took a lawn sign, ignited it, tried to force it under the entrance, then placed the burning sign in the bush before returning to repeatedly kick and damage the door.

Khan was charged with third degree arson, fifth degree arson, and two counts of third degree criminal mischief, with some reports listing the charges as hate crimes. He pleaded not guilty and bail was set at five hundred thousand dollars.
Authorities said they were still searching for a motive. Apparently we need to call in a rocket scientist to figure out the obvious here... seriously?!?!
