Q: If the administration has declared on waste and fraud, could you explain the $420 million overpayment for a prison in Appleton, MN, when they company offered it to the state for $75m? BESSENT: I don't know anything about that. That's a waste of our time.

People are completely misreading this headline. The Trump DOJ claims nearly 21,000 suspected noncitizens are registered to vote in California. But an independent analysis found MASSIVE problems with the DOJ’s list: - 42% (8,880 people) couldn’t even be matched to California’s current voter rolls. - At least 22 people were confirmed U.S. citizens. - Thousands more may be naturalized American citizens wrongly flagged as ineligible. - DOJ omitted voter ID numbers, making accurate verification more difficult. - Local election officials found major discrepancies, including canceled registrations and people born in the United States. - DOJ demanded action within 48 hours, threatening election officials with prosecution. - Federal judges rejected DOJ’s demands to segregate the ballots. Most importantly, DOJ has NOT established that 21,000 noncitizens voted, or even that 21,000 noncitizens are registered. The Trump administration is attempting to interfere with ballot counting using a deeply flawed list that threatens the voting rights of American citizens. That’s what this story is actually about.

The murder of a child is a pain no parent should have to endure, let alone from thousands of miles away. Javits Frimpong’s mother deserves to say goodbye to her son in person. I just got off the phone with President Trump and he has agreed to grant her visa immediately.  All of New York City is mourning this tragedy.

What I’m about to write is true and very funny. A few years ago; the company that makes Cards Against Humanity bought a piece of land in Texas which sits on the space X campus. On that land they are building a statue explicitly to annoy Elon Musk. 🧵

🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Fox News is facing questions over a supposedly “bipartisan voter panel” featured on Lara Trump’s show, after an investigation identified FOUR of its five participants as previous attendees of Mike Rogers campaign events. One even runs a multimillion-dollar super PAC backing Rogers in Michigan’s Senate race. Viewers were presented with what appeared to be ordinary voters offering independent political opinions, without a clear accounting of their campaign connections.

This kid died because getting sexually assaulted by an officer scared him. The officer wasn’t allowed to continue to sexually assault him so he shot him instead.

Trump claims we’re now “paying the lowest drug prices anywhere in the world.” He lied. We pay the highest. Now, Trump is trying to prevent 4 million Americans from buying prescription drugs from Canada and other countries — where prices are up to 10 times cheaper. Outrageous.

“England: we're going to have to opt out of that one.” This has aged magnificently. It speaks to astounding talent that they could make 17th-century geopolitics hilarious to a 21st-century audience.

If Jeffrey Epstein was alive today, he would endorse the entirety of the Republican Party. This ad should play on every TV channel for the next three days. If you want answers and accountability vote Democrat.

Elon Musk put $500 million into elections this year, which is 0.05% of his total wealth. That’s the equivalent of someone making $100k donating $50. Imagine being able to sway entire elections with $50. If you don’t see the problem, you’re part of it.

Malcolm Turnbull is right. Australia should be opening markets and building partnerships. Yet the Coalition wants to torpedo an EU trade deal it started negotiating. Another case of culture wars trumping Australia's economic interests. smh.com.au/politics/federal/… #auspol

Replying to @LyleShelton
Lyle, it’s wonderful to see Family First embracing Christian values, particularly the little-known biblical instruction to gather at Flinders Street Station and complain about foreigners.

The economics of coal are becoming increasingly difficult. Ageing power stations face enormous maintenance bills while competing with cheaper renewable generation. And now taxpayers are being asked for $50 million to help keep one operating. Thoughts @mattjcan?

Hey @Grok, concise, no spin. Did the U.S. military just deploy SURFACE-TO-AIR MISSILE LAUNCHERS armed with Stinger missiles near Trump's MAR-A-LAGO estate without telling Americans what specific threat they're defending against? Start with YES or NO.

Oracle cut around 21,000 jobs in 2026. Amazon ~ 16,000 Meta ~ 8,000 Dell ~ 11,000 Intel ~ 15,000 Microsoft ~ 5,000 (with buyouts offered to 25% of their workforce) Immigrants aren’t taking your good jobs. It’s the oligarchs.
