The Bad Iburg group had a great day out to Bremerhaven on Thursday- we visited the Klimahaus, the Aussichtsplatform and had some free time for shopping in the city #GPCBadIburg @ukgconnection

Our Gernsheim group were in school today, looking forward to their weekend. Yesterday they were in Heidelberg!

We have had a great day in Osnabrück- we enjoyed learning more about the history of the town, including a visit to the Felix Nussbaum Haus and a guided tour of some of his most famous works, before meeting our host partners for a meal #GPCBadIburg @ukgconnection

Our Gernsheim group are hard at work today with lessons in school. Some literature, and plenty of grammar!

Our Gernsheim group have been immersing themselves in German culture by spending time with their host families this weekend; theme parks, street parties, museums, cinema trips, crazy golf and much more!

Another great day at school in Bad Iburg, learning about Konjunktiv I und II, visiting the local primary school and starting our thematic workshop with our German partners!

After our first day at school yesterday, the Gernsheim group are arriving in Frankfurt after a (much needed) slightly later start! They are ready to explore the sights.

And just like that, our time in Erlangen is coming to an end. We've had a fantastic last day with a visit to Siemens, a wonderful goodbye party with our hosts and of course, a final game of volleyball! Auf Wiedersehen, Erlangen und danke für alles! 🇩🇪 #GPCErlangen

Today we've been working on our grammar and wrote our own verse of a German rap about friendship! Then we have had an exciting afternoon visiting Adidas, discovering their amazing campus (on their campus bikes!) and learning all about the history of the company. #GPCErlangen

We've had a fantastic tour around the beautiful Bamberg today and learnt all about the history and these incredible buildings. Some of us hope to return over the weekend for the "Bamberg Zaubert" festival! #GPCBamberg

We've been enjoying some great trips this week! On Monday, we learnt all about the NS Party rallies in Nürnberg and were able so sit in the room where the trials took place! Today we have had a great morning at Erlangen Uni in their Panopticum learning about light! #GPCErlangen

Danke to Frau Katona for such a fun and interesting lesson this morning about Fränkische Kultur! We translated some phrases in the local dialect, ate some homemade Küchle and tried on traditonal Fränkische Tracht. At the end we were all awarded a "Fränkische Pass"! #GPCErlangen

We've had a great first morning discovering Erlangen, learning about it's history and industry, meeting the Oberbürgermeister and finding out that all trees in Germany are numbered! Followed by spontaneous football match between British and German pupils! #GPCErlangen
