I was honored to moderate a fireside chat w/ Taiwan’s Representative to the U.S. Ambassador Alexander Tah‑ray Yui at the Annual Arizona CEO Summit. AZ and Taiwan share one of the world’s most important partnerships built on innovation, industry collaboration, and mutual support.
Lastly, we heard from candidates for AZ Governor: Republican Congressman @andybiggs4az, and Democratic Governor @katiehobbs with her running mate, Mayor John Giles, each sharing priorities for AZ's future. We thank both for their insight and discussion with the business community
Attendees heard from @AZRegents ED Chad Sampson and Regents Cecilia Mata, Michele Halyard, Steve Peru, and James McCain on the economic impact of public universities and the need to make higher education and pipeline opportunities accessible to all AZ students.
Tiawan Ambassador Yui and @azcommerce President and CEO @SandraWatsonAZ discussed trade and investment opportunities between Arizona and Taiwan. Continued growth and economic impact between the two remain promising.
GPL hosted its 11th Annual CEO Summit, in partnership with the @SALCLeaders and the Northern Arizona Leadership Alliance, bringing together Arizona's business and policy leaders for a day of substantive discussion on the issues shaping our state's future.
