Bryan and Kazuya mains for all their talk about playing "real tekken" somehow consistantly have the worst connections imaginable. These days I'd be surprised if a Kazuya showed up that wasnt just teleporting around with 4f of rollback.

Downplayers focus too much on their - and their character's - weaknesses. Getting GoD with the char to prove a point doesn't work.
Most players up to GoD are glue-eaters. And it doesn't take long to reach it (anymore), so you don't learn what tools/strats the char lacks.
However, its fun talking shit to other char mains. If you like to talk shit as a hobby, getting GoD+ to flame them is totally valid.

I've been learning how to play Lidia recently to help me with the matchup and my opinion on the character has changed a lot.
Lots of situations have decent counterplay and she definitely has some gaps on her kit/offense.
Bigget problem imo are the post-heat engager situations and HaE making punishable moves "safe". Inducing a mistake by tricking someone's muscle memory for punishment is really frustrating for anyone learning defense and matchups.

Tekken 8 is in just a great state and doing so well that at 270k prowess on a saturday noon you cant find a single ranked match. Bamco should take at least another 8 months before making a single substantial update again. They totally earned our patience guys. #TEKKEN

Really dont understand how the Tekken community can be hyped about anything shown last night. If things like "player search" gets you going then I can only imagine y'alls reaction at regular bug fixes and similar stuff other games get.
If @TEKKEN doesnt announce a bunch of balance updates, fixes to netcode and general online experience, then I dont think there is much hope left for T8. Game has been in a bad state for most of its lifetime and instead of acknowledging any of it they just keep doing cringe promos
