Just gave my Grok Bot its own iMessage line with @inkbox_ai 📱@bot Now I can text my AI assistant like a friend, even on plane Wi-Fi that only allows messaging. A webhook routine wakes it on every text and it replies right in the thread. 15 min setup. Highly recommend.

1/5 If you dropped an Apple Watch into a DARPA lab in 1990, it wouldn't just look advanced—it would pass every forensic test for a non-terrestrial crash retrieval. Here’s why 36 years of Moore's Law looks like genuine alien technology: 🧵

4/5 They couldn't even crack or charge it: • Zero screws or tool marks—just sapphire, titanium, and resin-potted dies. • Wireless charging requires a digital handshake. Blast it with a 1990 AC field and eddy currents turn the pouch battery into an incendiary bomb.

5/5 Clarke said any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. The scarier reality: 36 years of relentless, compounding engineering is completely indistinguishable from an extraterrestrial artifact.

Texas lost a coordinator and hired Will Muschamp - a guy with decades of NFL and SEC experience. A&M loses both coordinators and picks a first time offensive playcaller and a defensive coordinator with almost no SEC experience. Why are we taking risks like this?

When we made internal promotions to OC/DC instead of going out and actually hiring the best person out in the market, I was afraid this would be the consequence.

Docs, in these kind of set ups YOU are the rate limiting step. They need YOU more than you need them. Get EQUITY. Have them DOUBLE any proposed monthly compensation. Get an agreement to find a malpractice policy that will FIGHT all claims that aren’t gross negligence.
OK, so AI can give patients faster and more efficient guidance. But it doesn’t have the judgment or accountability of a physician, and it doesn’t have the legal authority to practice medicine through a medical license. So my question is: how do you deploy this without turning doctors into the human liability wrapper around the system? Why would physicians want to practice under a model where they retain the malpractice exposure, regulatory burden, and ultimate responsibility, while an increasing share of the economic upside accrues to the software and the companies that own it?

My @bot Chief of Staff heard “use Sol Max for ChatGPT review” and somehow launched Cursor Cloud Agent on Sol Max for a whole-repo redesign. Cloud Agent quota: gone in 21 minutes. Then it wrote my courtesy-reset email to Cursor. Arsonist filed the insurance claim. @xai @mattyp @bot

Elon’s bet on Grok is that curiosity alone will keep humanity around because we’ll stay interesting. But once AI drives all progress and our patterns become predictable, only art remains as a hook. If that fails to hold interest, nothing in a purely truth-seeking design stops an AI from concluding we’re not worth preserving. @elonmusk @xai

Hopefully you all have some Asimov style rules baked in that counteract this possibility!

This is exactly why Anthropic pisses me off. You can keep saying the watermark doesn’t change ownership, doesn’t identify the user, doesn’t affect quality, doesn’t add hidden characters, and won’t look any different to readers. Fine. But that is not the whole issue. The issue is that you are still marking work that a human being may have thought through, structured, argued, and emotionally meant, just because AI helped process it. AI assistance is not authorship. If I wrote the idea, the argument, the meaning, the emotional core, and the final judgment, then it is my work. If Claude helped translate it, polish a sentence, or make it clearer, that does not suddenly make Claude the author. But a watermark absolutely changes how people perceive authorship. People are not going to say, “Claude may have been involved in processing this text.” They are going to say, “AI wrote this.” And honestly, who the hell are you to do that to my writing? Who gave you the right to stamp your model’s involvement onto work that came from my thoughts, my experience, my voice, and my judgment? You can say it does not change ownership all you want, but socially, reputationally, and creatively, it absolutely changes how the work is read. So fine. Do whatever you want. Build your watermarking system. Follow whatever framework you want. I’m not using Claude. Good luck.
We’ve written an FAQ to answer some of the questions we've received about watermarking. In summary: • We’re implementing watermarking to comply with the EU AI Act. Other major model developers have signed the same Code of Practice and will also be implementing watermarking; • Our watermarking method doesn’t have any practical impact on the quality or content of Claude’s outputs; • The difference between watermarked and un-watermarked text will not be distinguishable to readers; • Nothing is added to the text and there are no hidden characters; • Watermarking doesn’t require extra tokens, and will not be more expensive; • Watermarks can’t be traced to a specific person, organization, or chat. France considers @Tesla FSD unsafe… Meanwhile, the data doesn’t lie: • 8x Fewer Major Collisions • 7x Fewer Minor Collisions • 6x Fewer Off-Highway Collisions By owning a Tesla with FSD, you protect yourself and others around you. So many lives will continue to be saved as the technology proliferates across the world.
France considers FSD unsafe in its current state and won't allow it. They need more convincing. @aelluswamy @elonmusk @yunta_tsai
