Russian Security Council chief Sergei Shoigu:
Putin has said three or four times over the past two months that we are not going to attack Europe.
Yet they keep insisting: "Russia is waging a hybrid war against us." Listen, we have no time for you.
God forbid you live to see the day Russia actually starts waging a hybrid war against you.
Live peacefully. Don’t attack us. We are not going to attack anyone.
They always need some kind of enemy. We do not need an enemy.

Zelensky:
Ukraine cannot have a weak president now. Maybe after the war, any kind, absolutely, it's the choice of the people.
But for today, if Ukraine wants to survive, Ukraine needs a strong army, a strong president, strong people, with all respect to everybody.
That's why the reaction is strong, and that's why any pressure on me—my attitude, of course, I will answer. Because otherwise they will eat us. I mean Russians, of course.

Serbia's Vučić on Putin:
Putin said, "Well, if you want to join NATO, okay. But I don't think that's good for the Serbian people. Of course, the government can do whatever it wants, but the people will remain our friends."
He spoke like that for perhaps 20 or 30 minutes.
Then I said, "Wait, who told you we're going to join NATO?"
He said, "It's your choice. We respect your choice. We don't agree with it, but it's your choice."

We gave $350 billion to Ukraine. And I insisted on getting something for that money, and we got a very big chunk of land and rare earth and other things.

Serbia's Vučić on Russia:
When people started saying that Putin was bluffing about the use of nuclear weapons, I told everyone in the West: Putin is not bluffing at all.
Of course, he doesn't want to use them just like that. Nobody is crazy.
But in the event of a direct attack from outside (from America, Europe or Britain, whoever you like) he will respond with nuclear weapons that very second.
Many people believe it won't happen, that NATO is stronger than Russia.
If you really think that he won't use nuclear weapons under any circumstances, then that is a huge error of judgment.

Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez:
We naively believed the United States, a great democracy and ally, would not repeat the mistake it made 20 years ago.
It trampled on international law. Except this time, instead of intervening in Iraq, it is intervening in Iran.
That is exactly what is happening, and we are paying for it with our own money.
In less than a year of war, Europe has paid an additional €100 billion.
To give you an idea, that is more than twice what Europe spends on its Common Agricultural Policy to protect farmers, livestock breeders, and fisheries.

We must not give up and must strive to end the war.
