Phantom Blade Zero is doing well on Steam. I have no idea what it's about, but people seem to gravitate towards it. Western developers should take a look at why this is successful.

Isn't it nice that you are required these days to give all sorts of information about yourself to these companies, and even more in the future, just for hackers to steal it? When will these companies be held accountable for leaking our information to criminals? When will we be compensated, and properly compensated?
Anonymity on the internet needs to be a thing again.
H2 Interactive has confirmed a data breach affecting its DIRECT GAMES store.
The company says attackers accessed the service between October 17–18, potentially exposing users’ email addresses, encrypted passwords, names, dates of birth and order history.
Credit card numbers were not affected because H2INT does not store them.

At least they didn't uglify her for the game. I think they might have made her slightly more attractive for GTA VI. I'm glad they didn't try to fully match her likeness. We never want that in video games.
So, Rockstar shows the industry that it is possible not to uglify the voice actress for the game by the Western studio in 2026.
Because they are securing their platform and protecting IP holders from piracy? Okay. Sure, it would be pro-consumer to let piracy run rampant. If you are a legitimate customer, you have no problem updating your system.
Also, piracy and supporting it lead to a worse experience for the paying customer, just like this. This is why PC, when it still had physical media, came with serial keys and even more draconian DRM measures. You filthy pirates. Yeah, I hate billion-dollar corporations too, but you are filthy pirates. You are making my experience worse.
What comes to Xbox, its discs have unique identifiers, meaning they can block your disc whenever they want. PlayStation discs don't. And if you think that Microsoft is not going to crack down on piracy, you are clueless. Of course they do; they have the same mandate from the game publishers to do that.
Asha won't save Xbox. It's a numbers game for her. She doesn't give a flying crap about gamers or experiences.
