Nintendo has crashed 48% this year. The question is not whether Nintendo is a great company. It is whether the market has finally priced that greatness correctly. youtu.be/8T83lpHmcpU

I’m telling you - we’re cooking!
Reaction to the new version of Gamified has been great. It's humbling starting over on YouTube but I'm confident we'll be the #1 show for the business side of games in a year. No one cares about improving their product like me and @Lemz_42 do. youtube.com/watch?v=JxgjOUdF…

Little preview of coming attractions My weekend vibe coding project was a gamified interface and show controls for @GamifiedShow. We’re gonna lean into this idea of it being a game show about games. I’ve got it working with a socket server that’s lightening fast and I’ve even got chat, motion graphics, voting. I’ve realized making game show like this is pretty easy actually. I expect we will see more of this. Just too cost prohibitive before. Hopefully we get it going in the next week or so….

The 2025 @gam3sgg Awards are now LIVE, go and cast your vote for your favorite games & creators 🎮 You can cast your vote to 10 different creators. One of the creators I will vote for is @SamSteffanina ✨ Without a doubt, Sam brings a positive light into Web3 gaming and provides a safe space for other creators, games, and studios to voice themselves through different channels, such as @GamifiedShow. Web3 gaming remains inevitable! Best of luck to all the creators! 🍀 gam3s.gg/gam3awards/

Hey, I took a couple of days off to respond to this post, because it was extremely real and heartfelt. In terms of regular open dialogue, there has been only one place that has kept my mental health and hope in this space alive and that is a weekly spaces of @GamifiedShow For the most part it is a no-gloss talk, we don't shill in the space, we dive into the topics and most of us have become friends over the last 2.5 years doing it. The host, @SamSteffanina is extremely professional, balanced and straightforward. I adore him like a nephew. The co-host, @Lemz_42 is insightful and speaks without agenda. He has always provided me with clear advice and a grounded view. There are regular panelists, @ParallelTCGpod who is just so real, with his self depreciating wit, but has so much of my respect. @MichaelSatoshi again, very real, articulate, we do disagree at times, but in terms of respect and acknowledging one another's side/insight, he is as solid as it gets. @WillsSpangler well he is forced to be a corporate shill at times because of his role, but he usually has the most consistent contrarian takes, not of the sake of being contrarian, but he has a different outlook and is confident in his own experiences. @itsGnoc I love this man, his knowledge is S-tier, but he utilizes in really making strong points, at times he is too market oriented, he knows this, but unashamed about it, but all of his takes are S-tier, whether I agree with him or not. You will hear me on the space, but the last 2 years I've been in Bangkok and so its either 3am or 4am in the morning for me, so I've been out of it, either falling asleep, or getting on the call drunk, or smashing a couple of redbulls and getting into it. Likely once in the 2 hours I will call the entire panel a bunch of peons or idiots or whatever, they take it in good stride, just because I'm 50 so I tend to see things always from the forest side and also give them a reality check when it gets too much focused on what is superficial or just in a bubble. But its tolerated well, most times they just ignore my rant and move on, but the reason I picked those 6 panelists to highlight is because they catch what I'm trying to say - but honestly, I'm not very articulate in general, even if it wasn't 4am in the morning. @paulbettner has been so busy, but for a year he was on every week, he is such a passionate and knowledgeable founder, when he comes on, there so much shared and we love it when he takes over the entire space and we let him do that as its just amazing to hear his takes while he also riffs on what he just heard. @mike_mrkite is in the same level as Paul, and besides being measured, very thoughtful. @BuxtonMatthew same as above, but he an old school ranter like myself, we are quite close and he comes in with a hammer. @uhhdub is a real friend, I love him to death, his takes are very much his own, always unique. @jerrysinger is simply fun, he oscillates between really good and really bad takes, but it's all in good stride and keeps things flowing in a comedic, yet thoughtful way. 2 others who aren't regulars on the panel, @jordaneureka @SlayerXgg both extremely articulate and who are truly authentic people, we tend to be aligned on almost every point, so I'm bias. @gabrielleydon the founder of limitbreak, isn't on the space, but he is a legend in gaming and I'm very proud to be his friend. You can google and find some of his past interviews and they are always gold. If you're looking for always straightforward and direct, well, he is even more so than me. haha. While there are others that are on the panel and some others that come and go who invited by Sam that have great takes as well, these are the ones that I've become close friends with in the industry and outside of it. It's hard to pick out many content creators, but I would highlight @iceyyy_gaming - by default a content creator has to be bias as they are being paid and so it's hard to get their true take and being a content creator in web3 is a landmine, but again, I know him personally and he always tries to be on the right side of things. Its not to say others do not have integrity, but being a content creator in this space doesn't leave a lot of room to be real and authentic but someone like @yellowpantherx does try to keep a line and it is appreciated. But again, he is a content creator, so it is a constraint. I appreciate @coopernicus01 in the same way. I mention the people above, because when we interact, they come without an agenda, they want the best for this space that we're all in. I'd say another founder I deeply respect and had a few good one on ones with is @Kam_Punia Oh and one guy I love is Vidar (I can't find his twitter name) and @Hantao is close to my heart. I think everyone I listed above, if you where to get to know them, they represent the best and diverse idea of what Web3 game could be. If these people were not in web3 gaming, I would have jettisoned this entire space out of the airlock.

I really feel this post. Pre crypto I never had a FB or any social media, I genuinely enjoy a life of anonymity/irrelevance but due to the prevalence of scams and the data on undoxxed token performance you basically have to be public. It comes with its positives ie sharing your journey with genuine people fosters a strong feedback loop and the development of synergistic partnerships but it’s largely a very unrewarding process for founders speaking truths because crypto has become largely a place where people prefer hopeful deceit than honest truths. As you put it, 98% of web3 gaming is basically fraudulent and that chatter is driven by people defending their own stakes, so genuine insights get drowned out by an overwhelming load of shills and grinders. That toxicity is amplified because 98/100 founders who’ve raised on half-baked tokenomics, ripple the same shifty narratives through their agencies and KOLs onto the ears of their holders who will grasp onto anything to believe their bags will go up. Then even well-meaning teams compromise. Maybe they had high hopes, maybe they were delusional, maybe just totally unfit or maybe they realise their model is flawed but they keep the pageantry alive rather than owning hard truths about their product’s viability because again bag bias, money etc. I’d love to see more genuine dialogue. No shills, no gloss, just people who can speak candidly about what’s working, what’s failing, and how we actually move this space forward. One question, any people you recommend following that reflect these characteristics?
