It was a year after endgame and in his mind Natasha was gone and that day haunts him still to this day like it was yesterday no matter what he does he cannot shake how he feels about losing her as she kept him somewhat stable in many ways.
It started off as depression for Bruce but it quickly grew into the other guy being effected possibly even more and it reached its boiling stage as the pain was too much for him to deal with as his anger won and the hulk was unleashed completely upon the city.
