Broke a couple of @BlueJayEngineer Ss bridges today. First one (no ropes) held 780#, broke at 820#. 2nd one held 600, broke at 645. Ratios are coming… I’m already impressed. @LHSJAYS
It is a beautiful day to have my CEA Ss surveying the back field for our new Robotics workshop. A coach can dream, can’t he? @MikeCSharp we can make that happen, right? :) @LHSJAYS – at Kansas City, MO
Heartland Regional didn’t go as @FRC1764 wanted but the team learned, already making upgrades to get robot ready for GKC. @LNEagleNews student Makena Dickens became a semi-finalist for the Dean’s List award. She will represent the team at championships. So proud of her hard work! – at Claycomo, MO
It’s good to be at the FIRST Heartland Regional at Olathe South HS. Can’t wait to see this robot and these kids in the heat of competition. So much talent on this team! @BlueJayEngineer @LHSJAYS @FRC1764

Yep. That’s a team hard at work, discussing options, making decisions. Student leadership is solid leadership! @FRC1764 @LHSJAYS @BlueJayEngineer

Some good news from the researchers. Glad to hear this, @KarynLew. Rough road but worth traveling down. – at Liberty, MO
New @nwea research out from me and @MeganKuhfeld looking at fall 2022 data shows continued progress towards academic recovery. The gap between current and pre-pandemic test scores continues to shrink across grades and subjects. 1/n bit.ly/3UyT10f
I agree, Mrs. Pierson! Watching the progression from elementary to high school (and beyond!) is truly exciting!
My Introduction to Engineering Design Ss finished their Automata Project. Super proud of the work they have done this year! One takeaway: Minecraft makes for great automaton inspiration! @LHSJAYS @BlueJayEngineer
