New week, new corridor! Corridor C: North Sea. This corridor offers access to low-cost, North Sea blue & green hydrogen supply to demand clusters in the UK and northwestern Europe, covering 12,000 km of large-scale #hydrogen pipelines of which ~70% will be repurposed.

#Gasification of biomass to biomethane is gaining interest, with its main growth potential from 2030 on.
Renewable gases play a key role in meeting the #REPowerEU ambition. The recent study “Biomethane production potentials in the EU” from @GasforClimate confirms the #biomethane potential in 2030 is sufficient to meet the REPowerEU target of 35 bcm.

The EU-27+3 #biomethane potential for 2030 sits at 45 bcm: 42 bcm from AD and 3 bcm from Thermal gasification. The feedstocks with the largest potential are animal manure and agriculture residues, with animal manure and industrial wastewater being considered as low hanging fruits
